Our second trip to Sidecut, and the second time celebrating a special occasion! The staff were aware in advance and made additional effort to make sure our dining experience was again first-class. The welcome from the restaurant manager Andy was great, thank you for the personal service! The chateaubriand was superb and without fault. Cocktails again were fantastic. All around,... More

We had a nice, relaxing afternoon break w drinks and snacks. The food is fine for a light bite. Wine is good - over priced - but good. Cocktails are fine. We just hung out and enjoyed each other and a Warriors game.

My boyfriend and I came to Whistler for the weekend to celebrate my acceptance into my nursing program with a mini getaway. Our itinerary included a beautiful hotel suite, spa package, and a fancy dinner of course. After lounging in hot tubs and getting massages, and consuming little else besides cucumber water, we had definitely worked up an appetite in... More

Online, this place presented itself as a serious steakhouse. Good menu. Prices to match. Surprised at the casual ambience (glad we decided not to dress up). I like to present the positives first so I will say up front that the bread was delicious and the butter had a nice blend of saltiness and sweetness to tease the palate. The... More

Great quality food, awesome service but pricey for dinner. If you're use to Four Seasons prices then this should not be too much of a shock though.

Food was very good and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed our French Canadian server. However it was jarring to be honest that every now and again they'd have a Bogan come check on us. It was not fitting with the experience whatsoever. We both had the prime rib and shared some starters and sides, perfectly paired with BC... More

Excellent burger, grilled cheese, steak and salads - every time. This is a must dine spot, despite the slightly out of the way location.

Had dinner twice during our stay at Four Seasons – second visit was simply because food first time was so good… On both visits we chose the fillet steak for main. As someone who’s sampled their fair share of steaks I’d have to say that the cooking was exceptional. Beautifully cooked medium rare and then rested to perfection so that... More

Description
Named for the curvature on the side of a ski or snowboard, Sidecut offers a modern take on traditional mountain cuisine. Situated in the celebrated alpine location of Whistler, the restaurant's sleek wood interior offers an inviting setting where diners can cozy up to the open fireplace or dine on our sun soaked patio. Enjoy dishes such as the Steakhouse "Sushi" Roll, Bourbon Birch Braised Belly of Pork, or prime-aged steakhouse cuts, cooked to perfection and inimitably paired with house-made rubs and signature sauces. Featuring a locally-sourced menu that evolves seasonally, the restaurant's farm- and ocean-to-table influence pays homage to British Columbia's diverse fare. To complement any meal, the extensive wine list features international labels as well as an exclusive selection of B.C.'S premier vintages. Here, steak is more than a meal. It's an experience.
