I always enjoy trying new things, but not necessarily in the context of not knowing what to expect next. The choices are well done and well presented. Service was excellent. An overall top notch dining experience without being pretentious.

Excellent food, great wine and decent value considering the quality for top dishes with excellent produce. Elk, tuna and blood orange sorbet stand out dishes of those tried in group. Great wine list. Book!

We went recommended by our hotel and didn't know what to expect. The duck appetizer was excellent, also the elk. My husband ordered pork and it was too fatty, but tge apologized and brought him an outstanding elk. Overall a very good meal and service

Description
Locally inspired cuisine set in a casual bistro atmosphere. Chef Nicholas Cassettari combines his classic training, top tier experience, and world travels with the best of B.C.'S bounty to create the fine flavours at Alta Bistro. Service is casual and prompt in the dining room and bar. The wine list is French focused, with the best of B.C. As well as international selections (many by the glass) with Enomatic machines dispensing fine and eclectic selections to pair with Alta's cuisine. Mixologists behind our bar craft some of Whistler's finest cocktails. The cozy bistro atmosphere is lively and welcoming. Reservations are a must.
