As a group of 4 off a cruise ship, we were directed here by our pedicab drivers. Great energy and Victorian era interior. We had a loft location above the band and enjoyed classic Irish music along with tasting flights of whisky and great pub...More

It's probably not a well known fact that the Irish Times Pub serve an excellent breakfast. My husband had the full Irish breakfast, while I had the little Irish, (a great value at under $10.00). Service was friendly, and the food was hot and fresh...More

It's actually a bit of a secret for breakfast. It opens at 7am every day, so earlier than most places downtown. No alcohol at 7am (that starts at 9am, daily) but the breakfast menu is great. Super friendly staff, especially behind the bar. Atmosphere: maybe...More

Known more for being a good nighttime spot to visit, Irish Times also has a good breakfast hidden up its sleeve. The menu isn't expansive, but it's easy to get a seat and the available food is well executed. The breakfast poutine was generous was...More

Just spent 10 days in Victoria and came to this pub a few times at night. Live music was great! Great beer selection. Really enjoyed the flight of beers to sample some of the local micro-breweries! Just fun to admire the old building!

I always like coming here when we're in Victoria. There's a good selection of food and a huge selection of drinks. We had a minor problem when we were here the last time. We went in for some Irish coffee and wanted a piece of...More

Description
Welcome to the Irish Times Pub, where excellent design and authenticity are at the heart of downtown Victoria's BEST IRISH PUB! Located at 1200 Government Street, the Irish Times Pub is home to 190 seats over two floors with 80 seats available on our patios, opening onto both Government Street and historic Bastion Square. Our concept goes far beyond mere architecture though. The Irish Times opened with everything it takes to make a pub successfully Irish, including authentic Live Irish music, 7 nights a week. The tradition of Ireland has also been extended to our menu, which has been developed on a philosophy of creating traditional Irish food and drink that is both contemporary and funky, showcasing Irish Pub Food as you would see in Ireland today. We have also just been awarded the best Irish pub in North America 2017.
