On recommendation we made a reservation but arrived early so sat at the bar - which turned out to be a terrific experience. Spent two hours working our way through escabeche, chipotle garlic shrimp (a must have!), chiles relenos, chorizo cheese dip, and the most unusual but fantastic - figs stuffed with almonds then wrapped in bacon and grilled, and... We called here for early evening tapas and had chorizo fondue, calamari and mussels. The food was very nice, particularly the mussels and the service was good. Prices were reasonable. By the time we left, the place was absolutely packed and is clearly very popular so it was fortunate for us that we went early as we had not booked... More

We arrived without a reservation - the place was packed and we were invited to have a drink at the bar, whilst they sorted a table for us. This took a lot less time than we expected and the dinner itself was really enjoyable. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Pricey enough, but worth it.

The restaurant was packed so I sat at the bar for dinner. The bartender was great and I got my drink and dinner order in quickly. The food was delicious and extremely fresh but I admit I was still hungry after my meal. I think this is suited more for dining with someone else and having the share plates. It's... More

Go here right after we check in at the Magnolia Hotel. Short 5 minute walk located in Trounce Alley, always hopping with locals. If you do not want to sit at the bar then i advise you to reserve. We always sit ar the bar or outside . Very interesting tapas and meals. My DH loves the sardines and the... More

I am a big fan of the Tapa Bar. The service is great, food is incredible, and there is a great drink list! I highly recommend the blue cheese stuffed & bacon wrapped dates. Yumm!

A bottle of Spanish wine, four bean salad, Chipotle prawns, olives, chicken artichokes and capers. Very nicely presented and tasted exquisite. A preview of Spain, one can only hope.

Food seems ok. The place is so noisy it's making me ill. Couldn't have a conversation. A disaster! Forget it!

Modern, lofty feel without the chill. The warmth of the space extended to the service and the food. Excellent wine recommendation, delicious tapas-was the perfect way to dine on a chilly, rainy night.
