Respectful service, in a cramped facility. Food was OK but nothing special. Menu is Limited as will as the wine list (minimal at best). The place is already worth a try, prices are acceptable but to loud for business.

Linguini was not starchy. The sauce particularly favorful, in fact very memorable and will not easily be forgotten.

We were wandering around Victoria at lunchtime looking for somewhere nice to eat when we found the Tapa bar. The menu is great and we all found something we liked. The sangria is very nice and the staff are friendly with prompt but not intrusive service. Would definitely return!

Looking for a small bite to eat and came across this place. We had the spicy mussels and bacon wrapped dates. Husband had the mango margarita. All of which were amazing!! Could not stop dipping the bread into the broth from the mussels. Definitely would recommend this place!!

I really enjoyed the ambiance and style of this very charming restaurant. We sat outside under the heater with blankets and got to enjoy the cheerful lit-up alley in the dark. The service was friendly and food was very nice. The mussels de cha cha cha was particularly good and the kale too! Fantastic evening!

Great atmosphere and very good menu and food. The staff was very nice and it's walking distance from most downtown hotels. Would recommend it for a romantic night out .

Wow, I have had Tapas in Spain, Australia and now Victoria, BC and this is the best I have ever had. They sure now how to please the taste buds. Service was fantastic, Sangria incredible and the cost was very reasonable.

We were given a $150 gift certificate for the Tapa Bar. We went on a Friday night, sat at the bar and thouroughly enjoyed the lively atmosphere and friendly staff. We ordered several tapas which were all mediocre in our opinion with the exception of the almond stuffed dates. Not an extravagance we would afford on our own.

We have eaten at the Tapa Bar many times and it has always been a great experience. The servers are pleasant, efficient, and appropriately interactive. The food is always very tasty, hot, and well-presented. The cost is reasonable.

Is it too much to expect fresh taco chips? The portabello mushrooms were so-so and on a bed of limp, roughly cut lettuce. The coconut lime mussels were fantastic especially the sauce but the pastry for some of the dishes was chewy. We got the impression that this popular spot feels it can get away with serving so-so food at... More
