I went here with some ladies for lunch. Service was friendly. Although there was plenty of seating outside, we couldn't really sit there as it was very windy and chilly, although sunny. But this certainly is not the restaurants fault! We sat inside and enjoyed our lunch. Atmosphere is pleasant. Beer was good. Food was tasty, just slightly overpriced for... More

Beautiful view of the harbour with good food and good beer. Service left some of our party wondering about attitude but by the end of the meal confidence was restored and we left feeling positive about our experience.

I've lived in Victoria for almost a year and am mad that I haven't visited sooner. Pam was so knowledgeable and helpful when I wanted an impromptu glance at the brewery. The space is absolutely gorgeous and beer are very delicious. The only negative is that I waited so long to visit!

We found this place courtesy of our Gorge Cruise guide. It's a bit off the beaten track but definitely worth the trip. We popped in on Monday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. My husband and I were determined to try as many different poutines as possible during our Canadian adventure - well Canoe won hands down! First and foremost... More

Thanks for stopping in Trista! And thanks for the rave review of the Messy Fries. We avoid calling it a 'poutine' as poutine traditionalists may not agree with the classification. We agree with you fully that it's worth the calories :) Sorry you had to pour out the beer, but we're glad you were able to save a memento of... More

We went for some patio beers as it was a nice, sunny, just warm enough day in April. There was limited patio space but we didn't have to wait too long for a table. It is a great spot to have a drink or a meal while looking out over a bit of water. They brew their own beer there... More

The service was very good, we were given a tour of the facility. Our tables were upstairs which was good for our large group. The meals were nice & we had a sample of the beers they make with each course. We would have expected a larger variety of beers, but it was still fine.

We had dinner at canoe. The waitress was exceptional and gave us free drink samples to help us choose what to have. Then the food was amazing. Grilled smoked sockeye salmon was absolutely delicious, as was the ribs that my wife had. The pricing was reasonable and it was the best meal out we have had the whole trip so... More

It was a beautiful sunny day and what a great place to have lunch, outside on the patio overlooking the water! I had the burger and it was so good! Great service and a very relaxing atmosphere. The double Caesars were pretty good too!

I visited here with a friend a couple weeks ago after she had read reviews that it was a good spot. We both consider ourselves beer enthusiasts, but weren't really impressed with canoes selections. We had a couple small plates and each tried the red ale. On a sunny warm day I could see myself going back and sitting outside... More
