A nice variety of oysters, local or less local. It is cool to sit at the oyster-bar and follow the advice of the oyster-chef for a selection. We fund this much nicer and interactive than to be served at a table. Try then with the local beers.

I was on vacation last week and went to Rodney's for an early dinner with a couple of friends.. We had several dozen oysters on the half shell of various varieties. Very fresh and tasty! We also had an ocean salad, loaded with squid and shrimp, cool and refreshing. A dish of pan fried oysters is a must as well.... More

It's the best place to eat some seafoods, drink and have a great experience, coz this bar is thematic, like a boat or ship, and in my opinion, if u can see the kitchen, u can trust! At there, the kitchen it's clear and every client can see cooking every plates! Amazing! Go there!

Packed on a Wednesday evening. Good crowd. Tasty Oysters with a nice wine selection to pair. A great 'Caesar' for those that like a Bloody Mary. Highly recommend.

We loved, loved, loved the freshness of the oysters served here. We tasted a plate full of oysters from local sources. They were big, creamy and flavoursome. We tried 3 varieties and could have continued all night! The service was attentive and although we were offered the carousel of sauces we declined. Not sure why Americans love to pour other... More

I stopped in for lunch after a morning of shopping in Yaletown. The staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the special of the day, potato crusted fish and greens, and was very satisfied with the taste and presentation. I also sampled a couple of raw oysters in the half shell and they tasted fresh and delicious as always. I... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
