Outstanding world class dining in a charming and intimate neighborhood setting. An incomparable tasting menu and superb wine pairings, all complemented by a thoughtful and highly skilled staff. Comparable (or better than) to our favorite destination dining in Europe. Cinnamon cocktail (powerful) is out of...More

We went to AnnaLena and were equally as impressed as on our earlier visit. The staff are amazing and very well informed about the menu as well as the wine list. We chose to start with the duck pate. While the bread was a bit...More

When we’re in town, we like to take our local relatives to places they have yet to discover. What was interesting about this establishment is that it is located directly opposite a pizza joint we hit every year with our extended family. Same street, but...More

My husband and I really enjoyed all the dishes we had. Oysters, bison tartare, mussels in cream sauce and halibut. There are many ingredients in each dish with brilliant flavors. The only downside was the noise level. The service was perfect and the dishes came...More

But these days that seems to be the way. The smaller owner'operator restaurants really want to make it work and they work extra hard to do it. We had the tasting menu which was very reasonably priced. The courses were the perfect size, the flavours...More

Really great restaurant. We had the tasting menu. Food was diverse, delicious and beautifully presented. Glad was wonderful, the mussels of the shell with torn bread had a Thai twist to it and was incredible, the halibut and beef were wonderful too. Service was attentive...More

My wife and I spent 2.5 weeks on a PNW honeymoon and this was our favorite meal by far - absolutely amazing. The food unbelievable, staff was very helpful and they even treated us to some bubbly to celebrate - thank you!

Kitsilano
Kitsilano is one of Vancouver's most transformative
neighbourhoods. With a long history of coffee culture
and poetry readings, its days of flower children and
buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving
their mark on the number of organic restaurants and
fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of
Kitsilano ("Kits" for short) the almost idyllic
expanse of Kits Beach offers the opportunity for a

If you only order one tapa you might leave hungry. That wouldn’t be to your disadvantage though, because you’ll want to try many and you will leave stuffed. And the bread they serve is amazing.
