While visiting Vancouver, we decide to visit a few restaurant/Pub houses. The top of the list was a place called the Here, the Steam works Brewery. What a place it was huge. It seemed the place went on forever. We were able to sit in...More

Packed on a very rainy Monday night. Because the food and drink is very good. Located in Gastown this large multilevel restaurant does it right. The half chicken was delicious, and the salmon hit high marks. Lots of craft beers. You won’t go wrong here...More

I know, odd to order red wine in a brewpub. But it was B.C. red! And very good, I might add. The seared ahi tuna salad just leapt off the menu page. And it was very good. A real spicy bite to the tuna. Lots...More

The beer was good. I had the Pumpkin IPA and my DH had the Coffee, Raspberry Porter. Both very good. Bacon, tomato, and gorgonzola pizza was yummy. Large pretzel good as well. Waitress was nice!

This was a great place for lunch after being at Vancouver Lookout. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the wide selection of draft beers.

While out on the town looking for somewhere to eat we came across the Steamworks. The fact that it was so busy is always a good sign, so we decided to eat here. Our wives opted for the burgers while me and my pal went...More

Located at the start of Gastown, this hotel/brewery is very good. Our waiter allowed several tastings of the local brew before making a decision. The food and menus is good, defiantly worth trying the chilli bowl. Would recommend coming here.

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and
stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of
being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of

We ate there with our 2 year old and 4 year old. They were able to make a smaller version of the adult menu items. Our kids split one smaller version of a menu item. The portions here are large do depending on the age and... More
