Had the chance to go back to an old favorite in the area of Broadway & Willow, Vancouver, BC. The restaurant is open from lunch to dinner. Parking in the area is predominantly meter and paid parking unless you are within walking distance from your place of work. Both lunch and dinner could get busy as it is near the... More

I'm a new Fan!!! We were invited to eat here last night. It was great. We had a large variety of tastings starting with the Chicken Satay. Delicious.I have to add here that I have a very low tolerance for spicy foods so I was a little concerned but after informing the waiter that we preferred little or no spiciness,... More

I've never experienced Malaysian Cuisine before, but enjoyed this experience very much. Our party was expected, as we reserved a table before hand, but they were very busy so we did have to wait a few minutes for them to put together some more tables. The service was excellent, between the cheerful servers and a manager that asked us how... More

We went for dinner to the Davie Street location. It was very busy for early in the week and deservedly so. Our vegetarian companions found ample choices while we carnivores did as well. The prawn dish was not quite as spicy as hoped but generous in size, as were all the items we chose. The service was prompt and pleasant.... More

While visiting family in Vancouver , my brother often uses the excuse to try out fancy "grown up" restaurants by taking us out for dinner. This has got to be my favorite so far. As I have never had Malaysian food before I gave him and his wife the honor of ordering for everyone. What a tasty feast!! Each plate... More

Found this gem while staying in the Broadway area. They now have happy hour (3:00 - 6:00) and got great deals. $3 for a 6 oz. glass of wine; 1/2 price appy's and buy one, get one to take home entrees. Food was presented nicely and was delicious. Really busy place so make sure you come early.

We have trade show every April in Vancouver. Banana Leaf is one of our favorite places to visit. You have to make sure you have reservation. Variety of exotic items on the menu. Fried rice served in half of pineapple is very tasty as it is visually appealing. Variety of sea food and vegetable only dishes. Last time I tried... More

This is a Vancouver institution but somehow I had never been here before. Glad I have rectified that. What a treat. Three of us shared a banquet of dishes. They were all delicious. Don't miss the papaya salad or the hot and sour soup. Friendly and speedy service. Loved everything. I will go back.

Consequently, it is also the botanical centre of the city, featuring conservatories and an expansive Botanical Garden, taming and sculpting the wild into seasonal viewing areas and enchanting landscapes.
