A menu with 5 sandwiches is almost expected with a name like Meat & Bread - but what great 5 sandwiches. 1st visit has to be a Porcetta - and it lives up to the hype. We left the town the next day and regretfully...More

Got a porchetta sandwich from this food truck at Aurora Winter Fest. Garbage. Stale rock hard bun with disgusting unappetizing filling. But that's not what really angered me. The guy DEMANDED a tip. For nothing. Then the meal was trash. Begging for tips is out of...More

Great stop for soup and sandwich lunch. Daily specials change. Popular place, so go early to avoid line-ups.

Though the line is dauntingly long it moved swiftly. Several choices of sandwich offered. Generous sandwich, reasonable price and delicious.

Stopped in here for lunch while walking around Vancouver. It is a really cool and casual restaurant, most certainly not intended for intimate dining, but fun nonetheless! The menu is adequate, if not huge, but the food is delicious! We enjoyed our lunch here and...More

We went here as a friend recommended it and I thought the porkbelly was out of this world. They do not have traditional fizzy pop but thats okay. The crusty crunchy stuff they put on the porkbelly is to die for.

Went here on a lunch date with my friend yesterday and it was delicious!! I absolutely recommend. Although a little busy, staff were super nice and genuine. Really quaint inside!

Go here all the time for delicious sandwiches! The staff are always nice and the food is consistently great! Gets very busy at lunch time but worth the wait (or go earlier/later than noon!)

The sandwiches at Meat & Bread are really tasty. In a week I went twice, and tried the porchetta and the pulled pork sandwich, together with the potato salad. Sandwiches were not huge, but they made a great lunch. Besides that, the line was fast...More

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and
stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of
being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of

Yes they serve alcohol. I have had craft beers there and I noticed cider. I can't say what other options are on the menu.

Presumably, this question is about Vancouver, Canada. The answer is yes, all cab companies in Vancouver take credit cards. Typically, the taxi vehicles are equipped with wireless payment terminals.

We make sandwiches that are high quality, of good value, and prepared with skill as well as heart. The essence of our food simple, fast, delicious is the foundation of Meat & Bread. Our first shop opened its doors in 2010 in the historic Gastown neighbourhood of Vancouver, Canada, and, since then, we have opened another shop in Vancouver as well as in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighbourhood and in downtown Calgary’s historic Grain Exchange building.
