Went here on a lunch date with my friend yesterday and it was delicious!! I absolutely recommend. Although a little busy, staff were super nice and genuine. Really quaint inside!

Go here all the time for delicious sandwiches! The staff are always nice and the food is consistently great! Gets very busy at lunch time but worth the wait (or go earlier/later than noon!)

The sandwiches at Meat & Bread are really tasty. In a week I went twice, and tried the porchetta and the pulled pork sandwich, together with the potato salad. Sandwiches were not huge, but they made a great lunch. Besides that, the line was fast...More

Love that it's so simple to order here. No huge menu, nothing overly fancy. Just good food and fast. Great lunch spot.

Hubby took me to lunch here, downtown Vancouver BC on W Pender, some time back. OMG, the Porchetta is amazing! The only thing I would change is the type of bun. They use one that has a very crispy top and it has a tendency...More

I’ve eaten here today at lunch, the online reviews were fabulous and so the expectations; unfortunately I should say that I haven’t enjoyed their speciality at all. I’ve taken the Porchetta, their most famous piece, but it was tasteless and completely dry, indeed even if...More

Was exploring Vancouver for the day before a week here on a work trip and it was perfect for what I needed. A quick, fairly priced, high-quality sandwich and soup. The workers were super friendly too which was a plus. Definitely would return!

We had the sandwiches here several times during our stay. We tried both the porchetta and meatballs - family loved them - I found them a bit rich but the had the meatballs without the kale and aioli and was delicious

My wife and I live 35 klms away from Meat and Bread but we visit 2 or 3 times a year. Very tasty sandwiches whatever one orders. Long waits not unusual but well worth the wait. We will make no mention of the Christmas special...More

Ate here as part of a Foodie Tour of Vancouver. Had the porchetta sandwich with cracklings and salsa verde on a ciabatta roll. I'm not a big pork eater, but it was amazing! The porchetta was moist, the cracklings super crunchy, and the salsa verde...More

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and

being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular

Yes they serve alcohol. I have had craft beers there and I noticed cider. I can't say what other options are on the menu.

Presumably, this question is about Vancouver, Canada. The answer is yes, all cab companies in Vancouver take credit cards. Typically, the taxi vehicles are equipped with wireless payment terminals.

We make sandwiches that are high quality, of good value, and prepared with skill as well as heart. The essence of our food simple, fast, delicious is the foundation of Meat & Bread. Our first shop opened its doors in 2010 in the historic Gastown neighbourhood of Vancouver, Canada, and, since then, we have opened another shop in Vancouver as well as in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighbourhood and in downtown Calgary’s historic Grain Exchange building.
