Only a few choices on the menu, but this is what we like, a few items done really well and this is the certainly the case here at Meat and Bread. It's not glamorous but the food is so so good. Simple idea but it...More

Always like to ask the locals, and this was recommended by a salesperson at a store in Gastown. I had the Porchetta and it was really good. I don't like vegetables on my sandwiches, so like I said, what more do you need ?

Went here because my cousin recommended it and it did not disappoint. The sandwich that I had (pork meat with green salsa and porkskins -chicharrón-) was absolutely fantastic. I just wish they had a bigger variety on the menu and maybe something spicy. I also...More

Following a recommendation in our guidebook we stopped here for lunch. My buffalo chicken sandwich was a complete triumph and the grilled cheese also lived up to their reputation. Great looking venue with a unique vibe. Easy to understand why it is so highly rated.

We went with a group on a foodie walking tour. The porchetta sandwich was great. It had a lovely crunch. We did not find it dry as a previous reviewer did.

There are few choices of meat and bread but all are interesting. You can add some sauce and all are delicious.

being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of

Yes they serve alcohol. I have had craft beers there and I noticed cider. I can't say what other options are on the menu.

Presumably, this question is about Vancouver, Canada. The answer is yes, all cab companies in Vancouver take credit cards. Typically, the taxi vehicles are equipped with wireless payment terminals.

We make sandwiches that are high quality, of good value, and prepared with skill as well as heart. The essence of our food simple, fast, delicious is the foundation of Meat & Bread. Our first shop opened its doors in 2010 in the historic Gastown neighbourhood of Vancouver, Canada, and, since then, we have opened another shop in Vancouver as well as in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighbourhood and in downtown Calgary’s historic Grain Exchange building.
