We enjoyed many breakfast specials here and every visit was a delight. Service was fast and friendly and the portions were generous.

I've been advised to go there for breakfast during my weekend in Vancouver. The place is really small and simple but charming. It was quite busy but I could find a table easily. The waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed and stressed so not really welcoming....More

Just landed in Vancouver and got to my hotel. We have not eaten in about 16 hours. We were looking for something different and stumbled across this place just a short walk from the hotel. What a pleasant surprise. It is Bulgarian food. Almost everything...More

We were quite surprised by the quality of food coming out of this tiny place. We had been travelling and had not eaten for 16 hours and starving. The food was perfect, light yet filling. Very flavorful and priced perfectly. I'm so glad we are...More

My wife and I ate at Acacia for Breakfast twice during our stay in Vancouver. While the location and aesthetic is "no frills" the coffee drinks for brunch and excellent fillo wrapped delights are not to be missed!

Oh, the poached egg specials! Worth heading here for, which we did, two days in a row: avocado + poached egg; poached egg + artichoke, yum! Others were enjoying the other quality foods on their menu...a lovely place for a morning breakfast or brunch!

European charm, hole in the wall place. Food is great. Don't expect fine dining, it's good solid food. Servers are always friendly. Joghurt sauce eggs Benny are so good.

Don't get my wrong, the food is great! But the service is so poor I am not coming back, I've given them too many chances. The servers are always doing dishes and not attentive to customers. We need to go to the back to get...More

Which is specifically why I wanted to try it (plus the great reviews it received). The dishes are primarily Bulgarian, and before you think "oh, bland and heavy Eastern European food", think again. The banitza, which comes with a choice of fillings, is essentially a...More

The food is amazing! The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired but the food more than makes up for it. The banitza is delicious. A variety of vegetarian options that all look very tempting. I went with the leek and feta option this time,...More

West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
