Game & fish cooked with a nod toward First Nation traditions. We had candied salmon & venison/ blueberry sausages, pulled wild boar on a "taco" of bannock, bison burger, local hard cider. Only complaint was burger overdone for our taste. 8 inside tables (1 or...More

This was for us, coming from the north shore quite a trek but well worth it. Ambience is okay but food is very good. The menu reflects the first nations heritage and have to admit that was for us a major attraction - not disappointed,...More

While open to the street noise of Broadway there is not the loud 'background music' that makes so many other places disruptive to good conversation. Service is relaxed and friendly and the servers were very helpful in telling where the food came from and how...More

After numerous visits I thought it was time to write a review. This is one my favourite places for a special evening with close friends and family. There are unique opportunities to taste special seasonal dishes, such as smoked oolichan which my smokey flavour loving...More

Came here knowing little to nothing about the place, except that it served Indigenous food and celebrated its culture. The ambiance inside is cozy and full of great art. The servers were all friendly and helpful. They were willing to help with understanding the menus....More

This is a 'cosy' location with only a handful of tables, and the service staff were certainly friendly. From a service perspective, it was 'average'. There were plenty of times when the glasses (water, alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages) were empty, but noone offered to refill...More

The meal was delicious. The restaurant is fairly small which is not unusual for Vancouver and the menu is very unique. Our service was good and timely considering how busy they were. Definitely reserve here. It is popular.

This restaurant is proud to call itself the only one in Vancouver owned and operated by First Nations Canadians offering indigenous food. Even the beer and wine is made by indigenous businesses. The menu is short, but the service is friendly and attentive and the...More

We are Vancouver's only First Nations restaurant. We specialize in wild fish, free range game meat and of course bannock, freshly baked daily. We use traditional ingredients that we prepare and present in a modern way. In our small casual bistro everyone is welcome as they are. In the spirit of First Nations' traditions, our intention is to provide a gathering place where the focus is on the people and the food. Inez (Nuxalk Nation) and Remi Owners
