Came here and ordered their special Bento for lunch and it was fabulous! Come early (before 11:45am) if you are here without a reservation!

This place is delicious. They're best known for the Aburi style sushi they do and it's a must try. It's a busy place, with a lot of staff, so not the spot if you're looking for an intimate meal. Having said that, based on the...More

We cannot complain about the atmosphers as it is certainly with a beautiful view. Seating is comfortable, waiting staff pleasant and well-informed. Sushi dishes are delicious, though we are convinced some are so because of excess oil or fat used. Desserts were very good; cappucino...More

Description
We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly to sushi enhances the natural flavours and textures of the fish, creating a new and exciting culinary experience. Miku owner Seigo Nakamura innovated the Aburi concept by crafting specialty sauces using non-traditional Japanese ingredients to pair with each type of fish. The light sear from the binchotan (Japanese bamboo charcoal) caramelizes the sauce, releasing a smoky aroma and bringing out the finest flavours in each piece of Aburi sushi. Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Fly Over Canada, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus.
