Any time I'm in Vancouver, I always go here! The food is excellent and most off the Guinness is top notch! Staff are friendly and a good spot to meet Irish people!

I love Irish pubs and visit as many as I can. This one has an authentic feel to it. Not a touristy, Dublin downtown feel, but authentic as in a country town working class pub. Friendly staff and patrons. Not a large place, but easy...More

Our friends were in town to attend the Orpheum so we were looking for a pre-symphony venue for dinner. Thanks to TripAdvisor we found Johnnie Fox's Irish Snug. Don't be turned off by the nondiscript frontage and the fact that it's in a bit of...More

Wow amazing poutine... we are from Quebec and we agree it was one of the best bar poutine we had. And because of the long waiting time to be served the barmaid served us 2 shot of Jameson. Perfect at all points!

I love this quaint pub and use to frequent it a few times a week. They pour the best Guinness in town and the food is decent as well. Great place to grab a pint after work or a hang out with some friends. Beer...More

We went here the other weekend as it was close to our hotel and we wanted to try an Irish Pub. I will admit from the outside I was a little nervous, as I wasn't sure what to expect. Well, I can say that we...More

This is a nice little oasis where one can take a break from the hectic Granville Street scene. We visited twice recently - once for lunch and once for happy hour. We will be back. Note that they have a new door and glass window...More

My friend and I wandered in here by chance. Great fun, real Irish feel, welcoming atmosphere, especially from one of the lads. A lot of Irish accents made you forget for a while you were still in Vancouver! Loved it so much, we went back...More

Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and
has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs

I am not an owner of this pub but I did notice that the staff we spoke to were from Ireland. I would recommend contacting the pub directly who could also advise you on if your work visa work is appropriate.
