Quiet and great little shop that does a great latte. If you like real chai tea, the chai tea latte is great. Good take-away snacks also.

Wicked is sandwiched between the south Granville and flank of Fairview, catering inimitably to that special Vancouver Sex in the City-cum-frumpy neighborhood alternative. But Wicked is actually very comfortable, and the coffee is in fact excellent. The sandwiches and pastries may be no more than acceptable, but the service is typically very friendly.

The coffee and baked goods were as described by others, good but not exceptional. Service was friendly. What was irritating however was that a total of 12 seats (2 tables for 4 and the 4 armchairs) were taken up by a total of 3 people who were obviously settled in for the day with their laptops and free wifi. We've been to Vancouver a number of times and we keep finding ourselves drawn back to this small corner cafe. First of all, the coffees we like are well-prepared here. I like their Americano and occasionally their Mocha. My wife enjoys their lattes. Don't stop at the coffees if you visit. They usually have a tasty quiche in the case,... More

Loved the coffee and breakfast wrap we had while exploring the neighborhood. Great place to stop with free wifi for customers.

Definitely a slow food type of joint. Good but give yourself extra time at lunch because their service is slow. Food is good but prices are quite steep.

The coffee was OK, nothing special. The lemon loaf is the same you see in many coffee places, tastes and looks like it comes from a big supplier. The server behind the counter looked bored and looked defeated when she realized she had to make a cappuccino . Noisy traffic if you sit outside. Give this place a pass.

Popped in here to get out of the rain, no great expectations. Happy to find that it os a great place for a light snack and a drink. Good range of coffees and soft drinks, some nice home-made cakes. The staff are friendly and seem genuine. Nice vibe to the place, mainly '70s soft rock playing, lots of people on... More

Staying in Shaughnessy

Neighbourhood Profile
Shaughnessy
Residential neighbourhood to the ultra-wealthy, the gorgeous manor houses centred around The Crescent area are a fabled sight to behold. Shaughnessy is Vancouver's most verdant plotted neighbourhood, and its tree-lined streets, walking routes, bike trails, and charming public parks make for an ideal location to spend and afternoon communing with nature. Consequently, it is also the botanical centre of the city, featuring conservatories and an expansive Botanical Garden, taming and sculpting the wild into seasonal viewing areas and enchanting landscapes. Quiet, elegant Shaughnessy excels at providing the Three Gs: Gardens, Golfing, and Galleries.
