We visited the restaurant on a recommendation from a local we met at Red Mountain. It appeared to be mostly locals in the restaurant, which is always a good sign. They have a large selection of beers and wines and provide a list to make the selections easy. The menu is not large but there is a good selection of... More

This is a local's favorite. If you want to try a massive burger, you should get the John Candy Burger. Just as a heads up, get your napkin ready and make sure that once you pick it up, don't put it back down. This is one juicy burger! I always recommend it :D

The Steam Shovel is better than the Rockcut. The service is quicker, the food is more consistent, there's better parking, and they occasionally have live music. They serve tasty fries, and there are a few cool ghost stories that go along with the building.

INteresting and jovial place. Pool tables and local bar game - Neglin- enhanced the experience. Very good pub food!

We returned here 3 times in a week, good locals atmosphere, good happy hour but a good menu with great staff. Friendly and professional and a busy and bustling pub. See you again soon.

Had lunch there. No hostess or bartender. Just one amazing waitress working her butt off. Despite the lack of staff, she was very apologetic & attentive. We would have gotten cocktails to start, but since she was also the bartender, we opted for a pint of ale instead. (Very good Helter Smelter Amber). The chicken panini was pretty good. The... More

The food was good and it's obviously a popular location based on how busy it was on a Sunday evening. Service was only okay.

I've been there a couple of times and never strayed far from the burgers and beer. They have a reasonably good burger that might be a little pricey but what do you think your going to get in a resort town.

Always serve great food, decent service and many different ales to try. Can't beat this place for a nice relaxing night out.

Looked good thought it was worth a try. Active bar Sean. Orders cheeseburgers medium rare but it came well done. Fries came with burgers and I got an order of French fries scraps. Pretty poor all around. I will not try again. Noisy
