If you're not looking for the Iyara you might miss it. Construction is happening next door but inside there is an atmosphere of peace in a Thai setting of quiet elegance. For lunch I had my favorite Sa-Tay spicy chicken on skewers, rice, peanut sauce and cucumber salad, served so graciously with an added tasty spring roll. A wall of... More

Have had great Thai food in Edmonton, so we were disappointed in the quality and taste of Iyara's dishes. Everything had an unappetizing odd tasting flavour. Nothing memorable, more like you would get at a mall food court. Won't be a return visit for this restaurant.

We made a last minute decision to go for dinner, 8 of us including 2 children - service was exceptional from the welcome all the way to the end of the meal. It was a busy night and our server made sure water glasses were kept topped up (even us who had the spicy dishes) was very friendly and attentive... More

My family wanted a lunch after paddle boarding. We love Thai food. The restaurant did not disappoint. The four of us got 4 different dishes and shared. My personal favourite was the pork red curry. Advice on the spice - level 3 was plenty. Suggest 2 or lower. Service was very good, very personal. The thing that stood out most... More

Average Thai food and nothing really to write home about. Missing the bang for your buck! Still looking for the Wow factor with flavor and service. Could have been better.

We ordered the salad rolls, pad thia, satay and noodle soup. Noodle soup tasted like stale lettuce and didn't have much flavour. Satay was oily from the deep fryer and was plain. Looked good though! Everything was just meteoaker. By far the worst food we had in penticton. Saltys, bad tattoo, terrys, the bench... all so good!

Enjoyed an early dinner here while visiting Penticton. Nice family run restaurant. Had an order of spring rolls for an appetizer. For our entree we shared their Pad Thai, Yellow curry chicken and coconut rice. The flavours and food were very good and fresh. We are Thai food fans and this place did not disappoint. We will be back!

We have been going to this restaurant for many years, the food is always good, authentic Thai (and the desserts are excellent!). The service attentive and fast, but not intrusive. The ambience is a bit dated but absolutely clean.

Menu has lots of options and allows you to choose what meat/veg/tofu you would like, and you are able to customize the spiciness of most of the menu items. Service was very fast and friendly, prices were average to good.

Nicely spiced thai food. Pleasant atmosphere and they helped me rainproof my wallet and phone to walk back to our hotel through the storm. Only complaint is that thai fruit dessert was canned fruit salad and this was specified. Brownie dessert was good
