Stopped for a refreshment after a family gathering, wonderful find out in the country.Beautiful location and landscaping inside and outside dining to a traditional english pub fare. Tried the Merridale cider -- what a treat.

Went there for an early dinner. You have to get there around 4.p.m to get a table, it packs up very quick. Food is very English where you can enjoy a good ploughmans meal. Try the loaded beef dip. yummy.....They do not sell French fries....More

The food is excellent and the beer is cold. Sit out side at a picnic table and enjoy the breeze while you eat. Perfectly quiet location a getaway lunch or brunch.

I believe there is a side door with a ramp as I have seen wheelchairs in the restaurant.
