Pirate chips has alright food, the reason I wanted to write a review is because the servers are exceptional. I've been twice with my two year old and there is a lovely blonde server who is just amazing with children. It really makes the experience that she is willing to go above and beyond.

The 4 of us were craving fish and chips so we thought we would try this place. The service was terrible. The food not any better. I ordered 1 piece haddock and chips. Fish was okay. Poutine fries were so salty I could not finished them. ( I love salt so this says a lot) . We were the 2nd... More

Quirky pirate atmosphere. Good, friendly and fast service. License premises with a fair selection of local and imported beers. Dedicated whiten-free deep fryer to avoid cross contamination. Fish and chips were good size portions.

We often go to Pirate Chips. The main reason is my wife has celiac disease and Pirate Chips understand this! They have 2 deep fryers, one that is completely gluten free. My wife has not had a reaction to their food. The staff is always friendly and very kid friendly. My favourite food is their nacho fries with the dr.... More

Good "diner" style food and affordable prices . I have been told they deep fry chocolate bars and nanaimo bars and all sorts of good things ... although I did not partake in the "sweet fried"items I did have deep fried mac and cheese which was pretty good. I look forward to going back.

Gluten free fish and chips cooked in a dedicated gluten free fryer! So good to find celiac safe options. I've had the fish and chips twice. The first time they were delicious but the second time I found the batter a bit thick and pancake-like. I will probably try once more...but not on a Tuesday night. Kids eat free Tuesdays;... More

A very gimmicky hole in the wall. I had heard the food was "real" but it's just prefab Cisco stuff like any where. Very disappointed.

If you're thinking of fish and chips, this is the place. We took our parents there after a long day of traveling and we were all very impressed by the service and the food. The gluten free options were just a bonus, but for once I could indulge on this old fashioned treat.

I was at Pirate chips before they moved and hadn't been back.Went with a group of friends this evening and was quite impressed. Service was great as was the food. You have to try the bacon peanut butter burger.Sounds weird but very yummy.

Very disappointed in this ( not cheap) meal. Shouldn't,t fish and chips be crunchy, flavourful and delicious? These were horrible and inedible. Batter had no seasoning , bland and barely browned. Fries were hard in the middle, barely cooked. As it was a takeout order we couldn't,t return it but called to complain. The only response was it would be... More
