We went to the coffee house for lunch, I had the root beer float and a Montreal smoked beef sandwich on rye. Both were amazing. The book store was also very cool. If you are in town check this place out.

This is a restaurant/bookstore of collectable books and memorabilia. The food is great and the decor is awesome, but don't miss taking a tour of the labyrinth of rooms off the dining room, it's fascinating!

Not Earth shattering, but with more personality than Starbux or Blenz. Coffe was good. Kind of place you either hop in and out, or stay and linger...

Walk a block off Bernard Ave and experience this great local coffee shop. Very friendly staff and great coffee and tea drinks as well as pastries, etc. Sit inside or at an outside table, and it's dog friendly. Lots of interesting curios and books to...More

Thank-you Bob for the most positive comments. So appreciated and yes just one block off of Bernard away from the maddening crowd and into retro 50's life style. Never get tired of seeing and/or hearing positive thoughts about what we are striving to achieve. Again...More

And great coffee! Loved this place and will be back tomorrow. Not on the main drag but worth the little walk up the block!

We gave this place a try after someone else recommended it to us. Because it's just a bit off of Bernard Avenue, I don't think we really ever noticed it (usually we stay on the main streets) but we were not disappointed. The service was...More

Met a friend here for coffee and enjoyed the atmosphere. Interesting pictures, and art on the walls make this place different from the rest. It was a sunny day so we sat outside. Very friendly staff greeted me immediately upon my arrival.

Great coffee, fantastically friendly staff who go above and beyond. The kind of place that the staff remember your name if you frequent it. The atmosphere is set in a 50s book store but still has that cafe' feel. I highly recommend it!

Description
This is a coffee shop serving a large selection of coffee drinks as well as cold drinks and milk shakes. We serve Paninis, soup, chile, various bakery items all within a retro atmosphere with seating inside and out. Attached to the coffee house is Robbie Rare Books which includes rare books back to the 1800's as well as hundreds of pulp fiction books and magazines with many antiques both large and small, and vintage prints for sale. The best collection of rare book ends in the Pacific Northwest. And as always our standard poodle Robbie, whom the store is named after, will greet you into the book store through a set of iron gates. The owner has been collecting books and antiques for some 50 years which makes the collection very extensive. You will not be disappointed. So, browse the book store and when you need a rest enjoy a special coffee and/or panini.
