We walked around downtown Medicine Hat to check out the 4 coffee roasters in the area. This one caught our fancy. Great, friendly service, delicious hot coffee, bakery items to enjoy. Loose beans are available to take home. I loved the decor, especially the tables...More

As we walked in the door, the guy behind the counter gushed a "Good morning! How are you? What would you like today?" If he were any sweeter, my teeth would hurt. I had tea (yeah, yeah, in a coffee roasting place), which was served...More

Josh was very friendly and made coffee (latte and mocha) to meet our preference. Well worth the 6 or 7 minutes off Hwy 1 to bypass the crappy fast food coffee joints and visit local entrapeneur. A quick walk around historic Med Hat downtown also...More

Trip advisor said I should goto Madhatter. I went. As it was late afternoon, hot (anything 25c is hot) I chose and iced cafe mocha (a first, but it felt right) and chocolate chip cookie. Staff are worth going for, all friends and seem to...More

It is a very quaint little coffee shop in the centre of downtown. It is very intimate and the coffee is excellent. Honestly, I have never tried any of its food, but I do enjoy the coffee and the intimate, friendly surroundings.

I have dropped in a few times for a coffee at this location. Went and bought a coffee grinder and then went on my quest for the perfect cup of coffee. I communicated my taste in coffee and they gave me three types of beans...More

A very good coffee place with many varities. They also have some good treats to go with your coffee. A great place to meet up with friends plus in summer have tables outside.

This is a great place to grab a cup of java and sit around chit chatting with friends. I really like their medium roast coffee. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Madhatter Roastery is such a cool spot not only because of all the tasty treats and delicious coffee. But it is so cool that they have an actual coffee roaster in there. You can go in sometimes and they will be roasting and on those...More

Description
We are a local coffee roastery, specializing in all things coffee. The aroma of beans in the roaster, which sits in the middle of our coffee shop, fills the cafe while you enjoy a cup of one of our freshly brewed roasts accompanied with one of our in-house baked, preservative-free, decadent desserts. We offer a large menu ranging from foo foo frothy drinks to crema coated americanos. Owned by two young entrepreneurs, Madhatter Coffee Roastery is great for coffee-lovers, london fog or tea lovers, and everything in between. We love to get to know a bit about everyone who walks in our door, while maintaing the highest quality of house-made soups, sandwiches, coffee and baked goods. We can't wait to connect with you over our roasted this morning, cupped this afternoon style java!
