We had made our reservation in advance and although the restaurant was busy our table was ready in a timely fashion. The décor and ambience is very good. My wife and I both ordered a first course and we both ordered the Alberta boar as a main. It is not uncommon for us to both order the same main course.... More

A great little gem of a place. Pan-European meets game meat. Pleasant, small with attentive service. A nice selection of beer and wine as well as seasonal drinks. If we lived in Jasper, Syrahs would be a regular stop for us.

We initially discounted this restaurant as it said booking recommend and are plans were loose but walked no by on our first evening the menu looked good so we were able to book a table for an hour later allowing us to wander around the town for a while. The food was delicious and worth the wait.

Best steak ever. So tender. The Pan fried wild salmon was really nice as well. Would highly recommend.

We've struggled finding a good brekkie spot in Jasper and happily this weekend we found it in Syrah's. With options for all hunger levels, good coffee and tasty food it'll be our go-to spot for breakfast. We were worried it might be a bit pretentious from the outside and the logo etc but we need not have worried. Servers were... More

We dropped in for a glass of wine after a disappointing meal elsewhere. The service was so friendly and menu looked so promising that we booked for the following evening. We were not disappointed. The chef really knows how to prepare beautiful, tasty food with fabulous combinations and the staff were engaging and friendly and explained the menu well. Starters/... More

I ordered the buffet, which had plain yogurt, hard boiled eggs, granola, fruit salad and a variety of breads and pastries. The fruit salad did not seem so fresh but the cinnamon roll was to die for. My companion had the asparagus frittata, which he liked a lot. The coffee was good and the service was excellent.

Syrahs was friendly. We were fortunate to get seated quickly despite not having a reservation. We had a bison ragu and vegetable pastiche preceded by mushroom carpaccio. They were all flavoursome and accompanied by excellent beer.

Really great food and service. They kick it up a notch! Small cozy place. Reservations recommended although we got in early without one. They are very accommodating and food is outstanding. I had scallops and hubby had bison ragout. Have the goat cheese cake for dessert. Heavenly!

Read reviews and thought it would be a good idea to go to Syrahs. Amazing food and service was our reward! We only had three days in Jasper, but if we had more we would have returned!
