I've been coming to New Tan Tan for years now and got many of my friends and coworkers "hooked" on this place :) Really good dim sum, fairly reasonably priced and service is great. Thank you Maria for always recognizing my voice when I call to book a table, and for getting me the best seat in the house! I... More

Service is typical for Asian restaurants. Gets the job done but not outstanding. Food however is very good and the prices quite reasonable. Do check you bill as the adding machine tape they give you has been found to be wrong more than once. If the adding machine was defective you would think it would be fixed by now. But... More

Maybe not the best meal I have Ever eaten but for Dim Sum this is really good. A group of us get together once a month and meet here for lunch. We have never had a bad experience. All the foods we have tried have been very good. Service is sometimes a bit slow after the initial round of offerings... More

Used to be a go to place so I suggested it for a business meeting. Sad to say the result was average. Business may be down but the key to Dim Sum is fresh, fresh, fresh. This wasn't. You could taste the fishiness in the shrimp - not good. The wrappings on the Shui Mai were dried out. When the... More

Many years ago I used to visit the Tan Tan Restaurant on Jasper Avenue. It moved north a few blocks a number of years ago and it was no longer convenient I stopped going. Recently I was at Canada Place and was forced outside by a fire drill and here I was standing in front of the New Tan Tan.... More

We went on Sunday for a birthday. It was great. It was quiet as usually busy during the week. Downtown Edmonton across from Canada Place, mostly a business area. It is definitely not posh, but the food is good and reasonable. Known for its Dim Sum, which is 'Amercanized', but very popular. This was my first time, but my family... More

good service, fast, friendly and attentive, number of dishes relatively small but very fresh. I like the family atmosphere and the friendly, laid back tone of the restaurant. There are MANY regulars who are known by name.

First let me say...I love this restaurant. My family and I have been going there for about 2 years now and we are never disappointed. The food is great, I recommend the Dim Sum. The business is run by a hard working family, they always make sure your water is full and that you don't need anything. Hope you enjoy!
