I was in Edmonton and we needed a place to go that had gluten free options. Brits was pretty good for a fish and chips place, everything came out a little too greasy though. Next time I'd skip the fries and get mushrooms or onion rings instead.

Came here because we were craving fish and chips. The fish was meh. And so hot it actually blistered my lip, after 20 mins of waiting for it to cook off... ordered the scallops and they were so little and greasy! Just pooled greasy in the bottom... never again will I pay $55 for a meal this crappy

Being a Brit I was so excited when Brits fish and chips opened back many years ago. It tasted fabulous and so reminded me of going to the chippy back home. I used to frequent their establishment every other week as I didn't live too far away from them. After moving away I only got to have my fave meal... More

I've been going to Brit's for quite awhile and always enjoyed it. However, on my last visit I got the worst fries ever. They were as pale as could be. When I questioned them, I was told they were 'crispy' this way. Do they have new owners? I don't get it.......I'll never go back there.

Staff were unhelpful the food was below satisfactory. The chief was stood in the kitchen eating whilst preparing food, was a very expensive unpleasant lunch out.

The menu is appealing but the food doesn't quite live up to the billing & it's on the expensive side of the line for what it is. I'm not a fan of the food being on a paper sheet in the plastic basket, it always seems to disintegrate under the influence of grease, ketchup or vinegar. Staff are pleasant &... More

Great gluten free option for the celiac in our family. Husband loves the cod and chips - as close to England as you can get in Edmonton. Kids love the chicken strips too. We typically order and pick up at the north side / downtown location. Highly recommend.
