My husband and I visited Normand's while visiting Alberta with his sister and her boyfriend (locals to the area). We wanted a good restaurant for our anniversary and they suggested Normand's. It exceeded our expectations! We had the shrimp scampi for the appetizer (amazing), and for our main meal I had the wild game special (elk and ostrich tenderloin) and... More

Lovely cozy atmosphere with amazing food. Consistently excellent with generous portions. Norm is always so welcoming. We can take our time and are not rushed.

My wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary by inviting another couple to lunch at Normand's. I advised Normand's in advance of the reason for our celebration and they treated us very well. We were given the table on the raised platform but beyond that there was none of the hoopla such an occasion might have received elsewhere; no... More

We came for my hubby's BDay. Cozy restaurant - traditional feel. Larger menu, ok not great wine list. We each had an appetizer, entre and shared a bottle of wine, Bill was just over $200 for 3 - $59 for their game special was kind of high I thought (price not given when specials explained). I had the boar ribs... More

Hello I know first Impressions are important! Obviously yours wasn't great. Firstly our wine list is awesome. There are 4 pages of different wines! Most are all in best buy category. One list is all Canadian. Secondly the price for the wild game is only $49, I checked your bill to make sure. The apps were my own pate which... More

This cosy restaurant makes you feel like you are part of the family and the food is fabulous. Generous servings and great presentation. I could go on and on but just go and try it.

Had the opportunity to pick my birthday dinner and without hesitation chose Normand's!! The kids had not eaten much French cuisine... So everything looked and sounded new (snails they said, which are delicious)! Appetizers included carpaccio, escargot as well as scampies. Entrees were pasta and chicken, 14oz veal chop, lamb and tenderloin and king crab. Simply put, dinner was amazing!!... More

this restaurant has been around since 1989 - great place to go for wild game and fish. Service was the usual excellent. I had the wild boar ribs which were fabulous , me grand-son had pheasant which he was pleasantly surprised as he had never pheasant B4. The wild game goulash was delicious.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere - definitely quiet, fine dining, but friendly and relaxed too! We have enjoyed a number of meals at Normand's and it is always excellent service and very high quality meals. The owner is often there to greet diners, and in addition to the professional wait-staff, he checks with each table to be sure the... More

Attentive service and specials and menu fully explained. No rush. Servings are huge. You don't really expect to be taking home tomorrow's supper with you. Had Brome duck again. The pate appetizer can easily serve 4 people.
