This is not the Hardware Grill so don't go comparing it to the "top" restaurants in the city. This rating is based on the food and service. Panciteria de Manila is a hole-in-the-wall in a dodgy neighbourhood. Furnishings, decor and ambience are mid-20th century Prairie diner. The redeeming features are the food and friendly service. The food is basic but... More

Had a great time and enjoyed great food. Nothin extremely fancy but very tasty and filling dishes. I had the rice with pork and a very nice fried egg. Try the red horse beer. Filipino beer very enjoyable. Looks like they have a great karaoke set up as well. Go here for sure and have a awesome different meal with... More

If you're desperate for Filipino food, go here. Otherwise, don't waste your time. Ordered fresh spring roll (lumpiang sariwa), pancit bihon and bangsilog (milk fish, egg and fried rice). Lumpiang sariwa was maybe 3 to 4 out of 10 at best, pancit was a joke and milk fish was tiny and rice was basically soy sauce on steamed rice. The... More

Went here out of curiosity. Have tried a lot of Pilipino Restaurants. This one just made it to OK. Not bad food but not great either. I did not like the self serve option like you line up for food, kinda like in mcdonalds, wait for it and u bring it to ur table. Food is serve in paper plates,... More

The food was excellent and the portions were very filling . The only bad part was the expensive price for beer.

If you're looking for Filipino food in the downtown area check this place out! It's a Family owned business and looks like they made an effort to brighten the place up. However It's in a sketchy area so I probably would grab my food to go.. Try the pork budbod! You won't be disappointed!

Try it. The owners are super friendly. Biho is the specialty (ask for the vegetarian version) The location may not seem the greatest but it is only a block walk away from the Winspear and Canada place. You will not be dissapointed. the interior in much nicer than the previous tenant. Yani, his mom, wife and daughters put out a... More
