We had never been to Fort Edmonton Park - nor did we know of the Selkirk Hotel. I heard about the new Years Eve Dinner while listening to the Friday night blues party on CKUA. It definitely was not a mistake. Food and service were outstanding

We enjoyed the osso bucco and the venison. Both were very well prepared. The service was attentive and the wine reasonably good. While I said supper is a must, I would give a pass on breakfast. The service was very slow, the waitress had to be reminded to bring more coffee, the Selkirk omelette was mediocre and we were there... More

After reviewing the menu online prior to our visit, I was looking forward to eating here. It was a huge let down. My husband ordered fish and chips, which came out of the kitchen with an eight inch hair across them. My order (portabella burger w/ sweet potato fries) came out incorrect and our server promptly noticed and sent it... More

Thank you for your feedback, which I have shared with my team. I apologize that your experience was not up to your or quite frankly our expectations, as we have had nothing but great comments this summer season. Our Executive Chef will be going through some training with the kitchen and service staff. Thank you for bringing this to our... More

The food was just ok. Hamburger was not as tasty as other restaurants. Service was a little slow. It is a very nice hotel inside.

This is a lovely little getaway in the middle of the Edmonton River Valley that is another fine option for Sunday Brunch. We reserved ahead of time and by 11:30 the restaurant was full up. The variety of buffet offerings should satisfy most everyone from those who want a custom made omelet with all the breakfast related items to others... More

This restaurant is in Hotel Selkirk in Fort Edmonton. I had heard some very good things about the hotel so when they advertised a buffet dinner for Halloween, we thought this would be a nice way to celebrate Halloween with friends. From the pictures on the website I had the impression it was fine dining. The $28 buffet was smaller... More

During our stay at the Selkirk Hotel at Fort Edmonton, we had dinner here and it was fabulous. The menu is small and not overwhelming, the service and plating was very good and the food was delicious - the crème brule was perfect. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the attentive service and the price was amazingly low for what we... More

We went there yesterday and wanted to grab a quick bite and cool off on the hot day. I forgot that they only offer the Sunday brunch at that time. While it was ok, for the price a LOT more should have been offered. A very small offering of fruit (I think only 2 kinds of melon) 3 salads (1... More
