I am very disappointed in Peter's new milkshakes. They tast like they have been blended by a mad chemist. What happened to clumps of REAL cherries, clumps, of REAL strawberries, etc. AND What happened to the the real tast of ice cream. I have lost...all confidence in ALL your food, is it real or is it made in a pitre dish. Please fire the "McBarf" chemists and bring back the old milkshakes. Again,,,, Very disappointed and I will make shure my friends know about it.  GOOD LUCK peter's Zeno M BereznickiMore

Awful service! Wait in line for an eternity and they don’t care! Not what it used to be “fast food”? Would not want to come back!

Burgers, onion rings and milkshakes for the family, all we’re awesome. Best go when you’re really hungry because you’re going to be full!

I've never had anything on their menu other than milkshakes, but their milkshakes are the best! Super thick and so many flavour combinations

Unlike my husband, I have never been a huge burger fan, so Peter's burgers have always been just OK for me. I did, however, really like their fries. Not anymore. Although freshly fried, they no longer taste nor look like freshly cut potatoes. Rather they...appear to be the frozen potatoes served by any number of restaurants. The fries had no taste and there were not any crispy bits at the bottom of the container. My husband was disappointed in his burger and hated the fries, so Peter's is off our list of favorites.More

This spot is a definite must-go if you want a super burger snd shake experience. The burgers were juicy and tasty with a great selection of toppings. Four of us ordered a single order of fries and onion rings to share and we couldn’t finish...the fries - servings are very generous. So many flavours of milkshakes - all delicious. There may be a lineup when you go, but the wait isn’t long so don’t let that discourage you…most definitely worth the wait!More

Have tried Peters a few times, they have excellent milkshakes but burgers are “meh”, nothing special, 1 st one I ever got was dripping in the special sauce, which honestly wasn’t that special anyway. Maybe I’m missing something on the menu that’s the reason it’s...so well liked. Who knows….More

An uncle took me to Peter's when I was 10. It was 1962. I loved the burger. I loved the sauce. I remember our bus stopping after high school basketball games. My family were regulars. And when I got my driver's license I went every...week. I was always amazed at how fast the service was. Crazy lineups did not matter. They were fast. When I moved away from Calgary as an adult I still managed 3 or 4 visits a year. I did, however, start having some nagging concerns. Move forward to 2022. I am 70 years old. I live in Calgary again and have visited Peter's twice since moving back. Sadly, the nagging concerns are all too real. I waited in line for 48 min. While snaking through the line a customer shouted to me. "I remember when Peter's could handle a line like this." So true. When I finally placed my order. "Extra sauce please." Imagine having to ask for extra sauce at Peter's! I had learned over the last few years that it was necessary. Back in the day, the patties were immersed in sauce. The burgers were saucy and I loved them. Now, EVEN WITH EXTRA SAUCE the burgers are mostly untouched by sauce. A large gob on one edge of the patty. What gives?. At least let me have sauce on the side. Nope. I went again this week. Line up shorter but agonizingly slow. That's when I asked the server at the window the question stated in my review title. It was actually slower than the Red Deer Peter's. I no longer recommend Peter's to people. As a matter of fact, I found myself at Wendy's yesterday. So, sad.More
