Went for a late lunch after 1 pm. Lots of dirty tables. Hectic feeling despite being basically empty. I ordered the chicken and spring rolls vermicelli. It was loaded with lettuce. Gross=warm lettuce. Why not cabbage , or other actual vegetable for cooking. Nope, just regular iceberg lettuce. Ick. My table mates ordered the spring rolls and said they were... More

Portions are rather large while their prices are fairly decent for the quality and portion size. Service was quick and friendly on the quiet evening we went. Decor is simple yet warm and tranquil.

Very basic restaurant but friendly and quick service, very good value for money. Good varied menu too the only downside being they had run out of gin!!!! In a great spot close to the theatre and stampede grounds.

I ate at the Lotus twice during a 3 day exhibition close by. Both times were excellent. Typical Vietnamese noodles with side of bean sprouts and sauce. Great taste, authentic. Place was packed both days. Service was OK, food came quickly. Good stuff

My first time dining here was very good, second time just so-so, and this third time the food was just really bad. Chicken was unrecognizable in my dish, with lots of bone and fat. Quite a disappointment. The restaurant only had 3 patrons but I wanted close to a half hour for a simple dish to go.

There was meat in the bottom of my vegan broth soup. Even worse, there was a HAIR, and the Lotus refused to do anything about it. Avoid, unless you want to eat hair.

I stopped here while walking around the saddledome. I have driven by this place quite a few times. I thought it looked interesting on the outside. I love the interior. I had an order of #1 Pork and Shrimp Salad rolls and #123 Wor Wonton.. Great service. Little bit of a language barrier. But nothing serious. The food is all... More

STAY AWAY! THESE PEOPLE DON'T KNOW WHAT'S VEGAN! Even though they claimed that they understood... A girl friend of mine (vegan) recommended this place so we went for quick lunch. The waitress wasn't good at English and was not able to explain what was in the dumplings/spring rolls/any other type of noodle soup. My vegan friend ordered vegan noodle soup... More

I ordered the Charbroiled Pork, Spring Rolls on Vermicelli. Waitress was apathetic and never checked on us to see if we actually enjoyed the meal. Food came somewhat quickly but we had to wait like 5 minutes to get the rest of our order. Not sure what they were doing... Portion was big but the rice vermicelli itself very bland.... More

I think this is the freshest soup I have ever had. A tad on the spicy side, nothing bad though. The decor and the service was great. Very friendly staff. I only had take out, but I will absolutely make a visit with friends to try out more of the menu.

Thank Paula M
