This is one of my friend's favourite restaurants when she has work in Calgary. I had heard months of build up until I finally had the opportunity to join her. She said it is African cuisine so I trust her. We had a cassava plate, some short ribs and a curry. The cassava came in the spicy sauce, which to... More

I have been here before as it was walking distance for lunch. On this occasion 8 of us came after a night at Escape2gether (locked room venue) celebrating a birthday. We just wanted a celebratory cocktail and munchies. My gin Caesar was standard - no pepperoni or pickles added. The featured beer (can't remember the name) was popular for the... More

We have been there many times and the food was always great, the servers are very attentive. I love the vindaloo chicken and the hot beef ribs. I would recommend The Safari Grill who likes a lovely food experience.

Returned after an enforced hiatus for our favourite - ribs and mogo. The food was terrific as always. I also want to note that they have some excellent South African wines, which are very reasonably priced - very low mark up vs what it would cost me through a liquor store. The service is fantastic!

We've been going here for a few years now and just can't get enough!!!! This is our favourite place to go with family, friends, business clients and all of them return! The food is full of flavour & fresh, it can be spicy or mild. Servers & owner friendly and do what they can to ensure a happy experience! If... More

This place is overrated. The service is poor with one server serving 10 plus tables and the owner is uptight with attitude. If you are looking for east african cuisine that is better than try Africana or Tiffin Curry and Roti House. We have had a bad experience twice now and decided never to step foot again in this place.
