Large group of us went for dinner. It seems that the Mousaka, lamb and ribs were all amazing. My daughter and I ordered their pasta $12.00 special, mussels and pasta and the mussels were a bit strong for us, perhaps not so fresh. All the other diners enjoyed their meals. Pricing average, service very good! Easy to find on main... More

Last evening we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. We had no problem booking a table for 7 guests at the last min. The service was excellent. This was the best Greek food we have enjoyed in Calgary! The menu was great! Many delicious choices! We all ordered different dishes and each was excellent! Good portion sizes. There are... More

Our group meet for a business meeting at the Broken Plate in Willow Park. Despite being a large group the servers were very attentive and got the orders correct. The food was very good. A must have is a fried cheese, called Saganaki, served in flaming brandy. We had the zeus chicken and lamb shank and both were delicious. The... More

we have been going here for years to enjoy good, comfort, Greek food. And now they have a great online method of ordering food easily for take-out. We did that last night and we were delighted with how quickly everything was done. The food was terrific, the service when we arrived at the restaurant was warm, friendly and efficient and... More

I had visited the broken plate quite a few years ago and I remember it being crowded and noisy but with fairly good Greek food. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the decor had greatly improved. I was extremely disappointed in my lunch, though. Normally I would have mentioned this to the server or asked to speak to the... More

If you haven't been before you must try the Saganaki. It is a special type slice of goat cheese that is baked quickly on a piping hot skillet and then flambeed with brandy tableside. When the flame lights up the skillet everyone in the restaraunt yells "opa!" and then the flame is put out with the juice of a lemon... More

My family kindly took me to the Broken Plate in Willow Park for my birthday dinner. It had been 9 years since eating there but we will not wait that long again as the food and service were equally terrific. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers, main dishes & deserts. It was nice that waiter was diligent about food allergy concerns.... More

Buttermilk calamari tender and tasty yet needs more tzatziki, spanakopita great with the red pepper sauce, meatballs with buffalo mozzarella hearty and filling, lamb shank generous with amazing mushroom ragu! Greek baby back ribs dry despite alleged slow braising but still had good flavour, pasta nights Sun to Tues is a welcome change and the lamb parpadelle is beyond WOW... More

We had a nice meal at this local restaurant. The food was good and we did not have to wait too long. It was a Friday night and we had reserved which was good as the restaurant was pretty full. We shared the Saganaki which was flambéed at the table. It was fun to see the flames! The greek style... More

Took my sweetheart out for Valentines last night. The 4 course meal was excellent and service exceptional. She had the Atlantic lobster tail while I enjoyed the Beef Tenderloin along with a couple of cool crisp Mythos beers. We usually dine here once a year, and have never been disappointed, Highly Recommended!!
