Eagle’s Nest did not disappoint with their poor food quality and higher prices. A traditional eggs benny that was served luke warm on a cold English muffin with a sliver of Canadian bacon that was almost transparent it was cut so thin. The deep fried...hashbrowns were hot, so that was a plus. The server was a nice individual and not their fault this is what they are having to serve.More

Upon reading the reviews of this restaurant prior to our stay at Sunshine Village Resort, I was skeptical of getting a good meal here. I need not have been concerned. We dined here and at its sister restaurant, Chimney Corner Lounge, each of our 3...evenings at the resort. We enjoyed each experience. The service was quite good (Armand did an exceptional job) and the menu included a wide variety of options. We were particularly pleased with the number of vegetarian choices available. Loved the view of the mountain, too. It can't be easy providing a top-rate restaurant where everything needs to be transported by gondola. This place manages to do it with class!More

Food is good, convenient walk or elevator down in the hotel. Has options for those with dietary restrictions. Sarah was our server a couple nights and was wonderful.

Nice restaurant on the 2nd floor of the Lodge. Spacious with nice views, with good quality food. But its more a lounge than a family restaurant.. with live music and overpriced food. I get that its on the mountain etc... but still ... Its a...lovely place to enjoy small meal or apps with glass of wine. Staff is new but eager. Wings are small but very good. Good wine list.More

We dined in Eagle's Nest Wed night. Extremely disappointed in both the service and the food. 20 minutes after we were seated we actually talked with the server. And that after I had to ask. Then the main courses: Steak- sent back not onc ....It twice...wanted medium rare and it came back blue rare. Server did take it off the bill. Veal- so overcooked I could barely chew it. Two bites and I stopped. For a supposed fine dining restaruant I my wife and I were underwhelmed to say the least.More

I usually have lunch at Eagle's Nest when skiing at Sunshine Village. Had lunch there yesterday with my daughter and fiance. It is nice to be able to relax in a nice environment with no crowds as opposed to the day lodges. Full lunch menu,...beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Get there early to beat the long line. Expect a good hour-hour and a half though if they are busy.More

We had a wonderful evening at Eagle's Nest, and ordered pasta and salmon that were well prepared. We got to meet the chef and manager, both of whom were very welcoming. Our server accomodated a few changes we requested, and we had a truly excellent...meal topped off by a wine recommended by the manager. The view overlooking the slopes is wonderful, and we found all of the staff a joy to interact with. We will be back!More

We came up to go skiing for the weekend. I am with my husband and 8 year old daughter. The three of us decided to have a more fine dinning experience tonight at Eagle's Nest restaurant in Sunshine Village Lodge and I am so glad...we did. Servers and staff are very friendly and helpful. The food and beverage manager Jamie was very nice and knowledgable. He helped us pick out the wines and shared a few laughs at our table. Very humble guy with excellent customer service. However, the food was by far the star. We shared the scallops to start. It was a very large portion for a starter and we were impressed with the quality of the seafood as the restaurant is basically on top of a mountain. Our daughter had the beef tenderloin for her main and it was so tender and delicious. Not going to lie we all tried a piece. My husband, had the sable fish and again it exceeded our expectations. I had the wild mushroom ravioli and could not finish my portion it was so filling. My husband ate the remaining portion and could not stop raving about the flavour, so good. Too full for desert, we did have a couple glasses of wine. Entire dinner was under $170 for the 3 of us. This might be expensive for some but in the world of fine dinning is right on par with similar style restaurants. We even found the wine prices were not marked up high, which was nice. Overall, absolutely loved it and will come back and recomend it. Should you be looking for a more refined meal or wish to celebrate a special evening, I would say this would be a good option. Everything was delicious, our thanks to the Chef and the staff for making our evening wonderful.More

So being stuck up here we had only a few options... Fine dining was selected... #ballin... fine dining we got. Scallops for starters were sublime, and two fillet steaks for mains, I'd pay the prices again and again. Cooked exactly how preferred (medium rare). Don't...get mixed up with which restaurant is which.More

We ate at the Fireside lounge next to the Eagles Nest - presumably they share the same kitchen. They changed the menu to a special Valentine's menu which was ok I guess. We ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs x 2 and sent them both back...twice as they were cold. For $30 a plate we expected way better. The waitress was nice enough but I am pretty sure she has never even been to a restaurant before, let alone served in one. She had absolutely no clue. There was a large party next to us that all ordered salads which never came - they didn't take it as well as we did!More

Bizarre meal. Everything seems to be served on a cutting board. Uninspiring for the price. The server was nice, and helpful, but I was pretty disappointed. I ordered a 16$ salad that I could have made at home in 5 minutes, it was like they...were reusing their fingerling potatoes in everything.More

Service was exceptional :Jaimie, our server, was managing at least ten tables on his own and with grace and courtesy. He must have the patience of a Saint! We had the seafood risotto and the lamb. Both were cooked to perfection. The restaurant was quiet...and peaceful compared to the family dining environment of Chimney Corner and despite that lack of serving staff, we had a relaxed dinner and enjoyed our evening. The piste groomers can be seen from the windows of the restaurant so ask for a table next to the window if you are interested in seeing them hard at work.More

The restaurant only opens during evening. Although the view must be spectacular as the restaurant is located at the Sunshine Village ski resort, it is too dark to view it by then. We are having a company dinner and I have ordered Sear Scallop for...appetizer and the Venison tenderloin for entrée. The scallops were done to perfection. There is nothing but compliments. On the other hand, the Venison was presented with 4 stages of "how do you want that done..." It come with 4 slices. The first was medium, eh..., I have ordered medium rare!? So, may be it were the edge, and the second slice was medium rare and it tasted good. However, the 3rd one was medium done, and the last one was more than well done. It is almost charboned. Overall, the dishes are quite good as I have asked around the table. The venison is just a disappointment, especially after the spectacular scallops. Service was excellent and the servers are attentive.More
