Had a lovely anniversary meal with friends on Good Friday. We had a range of starters. Scotch eggs, Tomato and mozzarella , mushroom soup. For mains, Chicken and chorizo pie, Steak and burger. All were delicious. The Hunters was so busy, but everything seemed to flow seamlessly. We felt relaxed and unhurried. We returned for lunch on Easter Sunday to... More

Portion of chips, floppy overcooked, so dark brown, such a small portion. Chilli and Rice, served on a side plate the portion was so small yet it cost £6.50 Large wine and some bombay mix £9 Friendly, clean, its echoey / noisy due to no soft furnishings.

Thank you for taking the time to write. I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy the chilli, I must say ordinarily chilli & rice does not feature on our menu we only offered it as a special favour for a running club who had booked a large area on the night in question. The agreement with the running... More

We had a lovely evening meal at the Hunter's Lodge Inn last night with 6 adults and 2 young children, the chef and bar/wait staff could not have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating. We have a very 'particular' 5 year old who the chef was more than happy to accommodate for his 'tastes' by allowing him to order off... More

Good food locally sourced with a good wine menu. We stopped off for a welcome break whilst walking from dittisham back to Totnes on the Dart trail

Warm welcome for both people and dogs! Tasty meals and good local beers. Generous portion size and chips were heavenly as were the garlic mushrooms. Valentine's evening special menu was not cheap but good value for the excellent standard of food and ambience.

I visited the pub for an evening meal and it was lovely! The pub has had a complete refurb and looks wonderful - modern rustic but still has the warm atmosphere of a country village pub. The menu was good with both veggie and non veggie options. I had a main and dessert which were both delicious and well presented.... More

Excellent evening meal here last week, at a great price. An interesting menu which seems to change, with excellent beer and a good wine selection, and the possibility to do a wide ranging gin tasting if you get the urge. Staff are very friendly, and happy to help.
