Our visit to Titi's began with an 85 peso taxi ride from the Grand Mayan. The area around Titi's supports a local community and is typical of many locales not developed for tourism. "Sketchy" is how one reviewer put it, authentic is a far more descriptive term. We were greeted with friendly smiles as the only Caucasian patrons and graciously... More

We found this gem of a restaurant years ago thru Nacho-our friend. If you love seafood-this is the place to go. You will have a great experience & go back again. We highly recommend this Mexican restaurant if you are staying in the Nuevo area. Pass a hello to Nester & the amigos for us. Miss you all 🇨🇦

Our cab driver took us here for dinner. I little off the path and a favourite of locals -- it is very good. Very cheap food/drinks (15 pesos coronas) and excellent food. We had shrimp, ceviche, and beef/bean tacos and it was amazing. Very fresh and authentic.

So the area is a bit sketchy but the service was absolutely top notch. The prices were very reasonable and the food was unbelievable good. I am definitely going back to this place. Carlos our waiter was hands down the best.

Not a fancy place but if you like to eat with the locals and eat seafood this would be a good place to try. Good food and exceptional service!!!!!! Right outside the grand Mayan gate.

This joint is a find. Good food. Pleasant (as usual) staff. Good prices. Try the shrimp cucuracha and their aquachiles. Tasty carne asada grilled over WOOD!!! Ask someone at the front desk to call a cab (unless you are lucky and there is a cab driver eating there). Get out of your resort and enjoy the local stuff. Check the... More

While staying at the Hard Rock Resort, we had the opportunity to explore the local area with a great local guide (gracias, Nacho!) and found this jewel of a local restaurant tucked away on a side street in Jarretaderas. Super seafood and meat options! The 'camarones con salsa' were some of the best I've ever had and my son loved... More

If you love shrimp, you will like this restaurant. Definitely not a touristy place. Locals, families, we were the only tourists in the open air restaurant. My husband loved the food, I thought it was good but not the best. We both had fish but it's known for shrimp, piled high. Very inexpensive and charming.

Dined here a couple nights ago on the recommendation of some folks we met. Really wanted a LOCAL place to eat. A short taxi ride from Paradise village to a place we thought was in the middle of nowhere. Outdoor seating with some stray cats that spooked my wife ( owner apologized -- says he hates cats too and can't... More
