A very pretty restaurant, with a nice covered patio. I was looking for the place next door that offered complete breakfasts for 65 pesos, but La Malinche was much more attractive, so I stopped. Beginning with a mixed juice with guava. Coffee. And a nicely presented Huevos Rancheros (I like the beans with Mexican cheese, so did not order the... More

Found the new location of Lamalinche and was thrilled with the open space and decor of it. Really enjoyed the entertainment and how they put Sombreros on the cutomers when singing La Bamba. Had the whole restauants involved. Food was exceptional as it always has pm been. A must try. Now located next to Momma Norma's

We were in Ixtapa for November and were very disappointed when saw the La Malinche space occupied by someone else. We were told by the new occupant, Raul formerly of the Generals that they had moved. Raul is operating an Taco eatery there now We visited La Malinche twice during our visit and we were once again amazed by the... More

This was a great restaurant, the service was good and it wasn't busy at all when we went. They had 2 for one Margaritas so it only cost us about $14 USD for 4. I had the Burro pasta which was spaghetti with butter and parmesan. It was very tasty and simple. My boyfriend had the shrimp with the Jamaican... More

On our first day we ventured across from our hotel the emporio in search of The Generals or Momma Norma's/Deborah's and stumbled across this place in the plaza area on a side street. Ended up working out great. We enjoyed 2x1 Mango Margarita's. They were huge and really good. I had fish taco's, my boyfriend shrimp taco's and we shared.... More

I've been eating at La Malinche every year or 10 years...so you know I love it! They always have someone singing to recorded music, and if you get in the spirit of it and sing along a little you'll have a great time while also enjoying an excellent meal. The food here is authentic and varied. I recommend the Chile... More

Have been to La Malinche quite a few times over the years .... mostly because visiting guests want to try it out. Long story short, this place is frustrating ... both food and staff are unpredictable. On a good night, you'll praise this place ... on a bad night, you'll curse it. There is a large turnover of staff here... More

Thin cut prime rib filled the plate. it was nicely seasoned and cooked to order (casse crudo) very rare, Nice potato and vegetables. My wife loved her chicken with mole sauce, and the two-for-one mango margaritas were delicious. For under forty bucks, you can't beat it.

6 adults and 6 kids went to La Malinche for dinner. The wives were looking to eat molcajete. La Malinches molcajete was just OK. The broth was very good, but the chicken and beef were overcooked and tough. There was not a fish option. The kids all had tacos and quesadillas. They had no complaints. The margaritas were good, but... More
