The owners and employees are respectful, speak English, and really care. Lot's of choices, and creative menu. I love the fresh fish daily. Local expats frequent come here. We spend six weeks or more in Puerto for 20 years.

We loved this restaurant 3 months ago when we first arrived in Puerto Escondido but our experience went down hill very quickly! If you're spending 1000+ pesos a day, expect fantastic service. We spent many, many days here, either for breaky, lunch or lounging on the beds as it was close to where we were staying and observed their behaviour... More

Came upon this place and ate greak breakfast right on the beach. Simple but oh so nice to have your toes on the sand while you sit at a small table with umbrella and get served a very nice breakfast at incredibly reasonable price. Can't beat the spectaular view. Also, after eating breakfast you can relax on the lounge chairs... More

Arcis is very small and among a couple other restaurants but fortunately we were steered to Arcis by Antonio on our first day in Puerta Escondido and we continued to go back every day. The staff is friendly, service great, chairs on beach, and fantastic food. Had fresh red snapper caught that day that was better than any 5 star... More

I have been here at least four times in the last two visits to Puerto Escondido. I just love this place. It has really fresh sea food (even from the same day), front seats to the Puerto Escondido Main Beach, you can eat with your feet in the sand (if you want, they have tables in the concrete part), really... Perfect spot on the beach although you might need to walk a little. Located by the rocks, it is sharing a small area with a wooden terrace where the waiters fight to drag you from Arcis. But once you sit down for a bite or lie down for the day, you fall For this place and know you will come... More

We had eaten here several time and the food was amazing. From the display and presentation to amazing flavor cooked to perfection. Because of this and the personalized service, I chose this venue to propose to my fiancé. Lorenzo and his staff handled every detail for the perfect evening. We had an enchanting evening on the beach with candlelight, flowers... More
