Very pleasant restaurant with spacious environment and pleasant views. Good menu with well-presented food. Good choice of beer - 10 different gins on offer! Staff try very hard to please. Easier to park and more reasonable than Rick Stein and his peers over-priced offerings in nearby Padstow. The nearby Quarryman Inn is also well worth a visit - excellent food... More

Went with my wife and her mother today. Sadly no children or grandchildren present. Very friendly staff even though the restaurant was very busy. Food very good quality and service happy and prompt. Especially grateful to be given a window table with glorious views down to the Camel estuary at Padstow/Rock. Will definitely eat there again. Well done Sally for... More

Stayed 2 nights in March with my parents in a suite and what a lovely room, very spacious with an amazing bathroom with a large walk in shower, free standing bath and double basins and the views from the room were stunning!!! The cooked breakfasts were fantastic...perfectly cooked poached eggs...very impressed! We ate in the restaurant both evenings and the... More

We have been to the Pickwick a few times over the last 3 years or so. The addition of the new restaurant extension has really given this place the wow factor. We ate there a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday night. The couple that own/run this place have been doing it for years and their experience shows. They... More

Our first visit to this restaurant. The excellent sunday lunch was enjoyed by all the family. There is a comprehensive menu and wine list and all the meals are presented extremely well. The staff and indeed the proprietors are welcoming and friendly A little gem. We will definitely return. Fantastic views from the restaurant.

The original Pickwick Inn is about 200 years old, haunted and has beams in the bar which rumour has it are from the Bodmin Jail. However, on the day we went there for lunch the sun had come out and from the spacious dining room you could see across to Rock and all the way out past Polzeath to The... More

Super Sunday lunch with plenty of quality vegetables. It seems to be the place to go for larger parties. Certainly in the new restaurant. This did make it somewhat noisy but you could always go to the older more intimate part of the inn as long as you didn't mind not having the great view.
