If you like steak this is a good place to visit in Morelia. I recommend the Cecina as an appetizer, some guys at the table compared it to beef jerky, but I think that's heresy ha ha ha! Instead of ordering the ribeye or fillet (as everyone else did), I went for a Mixed Molcajete, that includes steak, chorizo, Nopal... More

We had a family meal here, and everything was brilliant - food, drinks and fantastic service. Nothing to fault and absolutely worth the visit and price!!

10 of us met for lunch and everyones plate looked better than the other. I don't remember the word in Spanish but my mixed grill was very good. Had enough left over for a snack the next day. Had an excellent red wine from the Baha area. I think I paid around $10 for a $25 meal back in US.... More

We were just there a couple hours ago and the service only got worst since we sat down, waiter sat us down and took our drink orders, we then had to ask for our menus cause he had took a long long time, he didnt even bother to come to the table but he answered from where he was as... More

Another Morelia classic this is one of the "see-and-be-seen" places, it's rustic feel is cozy and their soups are really good but their salad bar could be better, yet all is forgiven because their stakes are fantastic!

This expansive yet cozy place has great food (appetizers, salads and steaks) and the service was excellent. We ate in the smoking section where the NFL was playing on the big screen. The place was packed with local businessmen and women having a good time which made for a lively atmosphere. Decent wine list. There is a larger non-smoking section... More

Celebrated my 21st birthday here and it was great! The waiters were very attentive and made the night special with a small desert and candles! They even had a mariachi sing happy birthday to me and the whole ordeal! I had the molcajete and it was delicious! The meat was very tasty, but their salsa was a little to spicy... More

This is such a must! Just the experience of the decoration is worth visiting as they try to resemble the style of housing typical for Michoacan the "Troje". Have a shot of tequila prior to your main meal! Anything you choose here is very good, the service is great.

By getting out of the centre of town on New Year's Eve on our recent visit to Mexico we found this treasure, which was packed with families celebrating New Year's Eve together. We wished we could have fitted more in as portion sizes are generous, the menu extensive and the flavours fantastic. Oh to have something like this at home.
