...we saw this restaurant advertised on a Mersea island Facebook group. So booked and went lunchtime today. Food was really good ... lovely place, friendly and informal ... and it was very busy too. Will definitely be going again soon

Had lunch twice here over our stay. Very good menu selection including non- seafood and daily specials. We sat outside as we have dogs, which could do with a spruce up. Food and service was excellent and reasonably priced and it is licensed which adds...More

Visited today at lunchtime. Enjoyed excellent local beer and wine. Great seafood. Very relaxed atmosphere and lovely friendly staff who spoke to us as much as to people on the next table whom they knew. We really felt included! Wish we lived nearer.

The cafe does have steps leading up into the entrance, so it would be difficult to navigate these. However they do have seating outside. Hope this helps!

Hi Guys - do you do Sunday lunch? Like the look of your place, but me and my partner are allergic to fish - unless it's cod and chips. Thanks Allie

They do do other stuff e.g pigeon, but if you wanted a larger variety I would opt elsewhere.
