Food is as good as people say it is. But... Atmosphere a bit peculiar if you've kids. I dropped by last week, with my near-silent kids, and I had to whisper to/admonish them for the duration of the time we were in there due to...More

Lovely little quirky seafood restaurant. A little off the beaten track, but well worth the effort to seek it out. Had a lovely lunch today, food was top notch, as was the service. Had a little bit of an issue with one of our dishes,...More

This was our first visit - we had a lovely time at Mehalah's. This restaurant has many virtues. The people who work there were really friendly, making us and our kids feel welcome. The atmosphere is informal - yet at the same time the restaurant...More

Been here before but many years ago, and the food then was first-class. Could not believe it has not only maintained its own high standard, but has improved it to yet another high level. Service and attention was excellent, despite the fact they were extremely...More

We ate at Mehalah's in September, and were not disappointed. Locally sourced food, local beer and local wine - oh yes! Oysters to start, and one skate and one fish pie for mains - all the food was cooked to perfection, and the service was...More

Had a seafood feast at Mehalah's today. The restaurant itself has the comfortable feel of an old church hall, complete with vintage piano. It is comprised of mismatched furniture and home sewn napkins and there was a collection of squash's on the shelves which reminded...More

The cafe does have steps leading up into the entrance, so it would be difficult to navigate these. However they do have seating outside. Hope this helps!
