We, and two other couples, rented a vacation home in the El Encanto resort community. No more than a five minute walk is Buzzards Bar & Grill. Thanks goodness we stopped in for our first dinner. Paul Meredith, Proprietor, has the gift of hospitality. The...More

They seriously have the best breakfast burrito I have ever found. I do get mine without the beans though and with the potatoes instead. My wife always enjoys whatever she orders as well. They are always welcoming. I read one review about being over priced...More

I loved this place except for the pricing of their meals. The grounds and location are worth the trip, and most people go at least once. It is a bit off the beaten track but the road is good. I have had many, many good...More

Buzzards used to be at the very end of paved road headed out towards the East Cape. Now the road stretches out to Zacatitos but that doesn't mean that Buzzards still isn't a funky beach restaurant enjoyed by both locals coming in on ATVs or...More

Buzzards is a friendly place with good food and margaritas. We walked from our beach house with our dog and appreciated their warm welcome. Be sure you take time to enjoy a walk on the spectacular, deserted beach.

We only droppes in for a beer but this seemed a nice place if you want to get away from the towns. Surrounded by villas with well kept gardens and on a nice stretch of beach about 15 minutes from SJ.

No, Paul and Julianne now own Buzzards and have for several years. It is a wonderful place and they are very concerned with the comfort of each and every guest.
