We called in to the Beach Pavilion Café for breakfast today. We got there at 10am and there were already people queuing waiting for it to open. Good food, quick service and all decorated for Hallowe’en. Good selection of ice cream. If you are in...the area well worth a visit.More

We had to sit at a table full of dirty crockery, as every empty table was the same. When our food was delivered I politely asked the waitress if she would please clear the table, she raised her eyebrows and started to walk away, she then...changed her mind and very reluctantly cleared the table. During our visit we noticed that all the staff were walking past tables loaded with dirty crockery , this really needs to be addressed as we also noticed a few people walking out after looking around the cafe and noticing the tables. The cafe is charming and in a delightful place, for your own interest it would be better to attract business rather than detract.More

Called in Sunday mid morning, ordered a BLT and asked for it toasted. Girl behind counter said couldn’t do toast during busy periods. So I said my partner wanted a bacon and egg toastie could they do that and she said no. At that moment...waitress came out of kitchen carrying three breakfasts and three plates of toast!! Place was half empty, have been there loads of times when much busier and got toasties. Left and went to Conwy where we got great toasties in a much busier but friendlier cafe.More

The cafe was lovely, very busy , friendly staff so we had high hopes on ordering. The Welsh cheese quiche was so bland with no taste of cheese at all, chips needed a bit more cooking . Fish and chips basic frozen fish. Maybe our...expectations were too high as the place itself is impressive.More

We went to beach pavilion on a few occasions during August, great place to sit and relax and enjoy the view. We tried the food, but this does need improvement, some of our food was not cooked properly. The tea and coffee are good. The...views are great. If we just wanted to have a chill session, we went straight to the pavilion. Would definitely go back again if we were in the area.More

Had the misfortune to eat here today £7.50 for the worst fish and chips I ever had. How they have the nerve to serve up rubbish food and charge that is a disgrace. As I waited for my fish and chips a lady sent hers...back, saying the fish was frozen in the middle. Alarm bells! I think they then over compensated on ours - The fish was a small very cheap frozen offering that was rubbery and the batter was too well done on the outside and gloopy inside. The mushy peas were OK but the best thing on the plate was the wedge of lemon. Avoid unless you are starving and don’t mind chucking your hard earned cash down the grid.More

Nipped into the cafe to get an ice cream while we walked our dog on the beach. The cafe was extremely busy with only three members of staff serving customers. I went over to the ice cream counter and was served by a very unfriendly...young lady. Didn’t smile once and seemed put out that I’d approached her to be served. I ordered two ice creams and also wanted to pay for a toy for our dog. She took payment for the ice creams but said she didn’t know the code for the other item (despite not even asking or looking for it), and asked if I could I pay at the other counter without a please or thank you. I had no choice but to agree but after 5 minutes of waiting to be served by two ladies who were clearly over stretched, I put the toy back because the ice creams were melting down my hands. 2 stars because the ice cream was very nice.More

Had the veggie breakfast, which included a veggie burger and veggie sausage but these were vegetable and bean which was a strange combination with a breakfast, fake meat veggie sausages and fried hallumi would have been nicer. Portion sizes were small. Nice place for a...hot drink and cake though! Pretty view looking over the sea and the cream cakes are goodMore

Excellent stop off for a light lunch while cycling from Conwy, very busy on Easter Monday but not a long wait to be served, food tasty and good value for money, definitely visit again when in the area.

Easy to find, plenty of free parking, sea view, friendly and polite staff who dealt with our order efficiently. Just serves run of the mill cafe food, eg, breakfasts, sandwiches and bowls of chips, but it's cheap, clean and the salad, bread and cakes were...all nice and fresh.More
