We booked this for a Saturday evening, there was only one person serving so she was racing around and the service was very slow. Sadly the food did not live up to expectations - we had the €45 per head menu. We left the restaurant hungry as the portion sizes were very small and the wait between courses was long.... More

Wonderful wonderful cooking. An imaginative, witty menu (try the Melon Eggs!) with few, but superb, items. The swordfish paté starter was quite felicious . The choice of mains tonight was a lovely veal or a duck - several of us had an excellent varied dish of monkfish which went down exceedingly well. Unbelievable, fantastic cheeses. The marinated chèvre? Fabulous. Run,... More

The actual hotel is rather dated but it is clean and quiet and the young couple who own the hotel are gradually doing it up and... More

This is the second time we have eaten here. each time the meal and service were fabulous. We did not stay at the hotel which appears quite simple. This standard of food would cost half as much again in Btitain.

My family enjoyed every mouthful, beautifully presented, out of the ordinary, tastes full of finesse, fun and our children loved it. Our 10 year old just had smaller portions and ate things he'd never have at home (cold courgette or celery soup, beetroot shoots...). The hotel is adequate, simple, clean, comfortable mattresses. Quel régal, fin, délicat, présenté bellement, on sourit... More
