Churros were very hard and probably had been there all day. We were the only people in the place. Then I took my daughter to the restroom and as soon as I turned on the light, lots of cockroaches started running everywhere! Very disgusting!! Paid...More
I stopped by here because I was too tired to go cook. The service was excellent. All of the staff were professional and polite. I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas with green sauce. They were great and priced under 7$. I will return. Gracias!
As other reviews that mention, the hot chocolate here is definitely a highlight. I had the crepes, which were pleasant but nothing to write home about. My husband had a soup that had fried chicken skin in it. He said it was a bit peculiar...More
Fresh authentic food in this small restaurant. No English on the menu so bring your translator with you to order. With that said- no worries. Do not be thinking this is an Irish pub by its name. Far from it. This dinning establishment is family...More

Thoroughly enjoyed Donovan where we had a good comida one afternoon and very good churros. Service was good, the kitchen was also good. The surroundings are pleasant and not too noisy. In effect, Donovan's is a quiet oasis off a busy street (Hidalgo).
Loved the food for lunch. We came back here twice during our stay. Everything from the enchiladas to the tostadas was delicious. Plus, we found the service and views lovely.
Fast service, nice staff who speak English, good food with variety and taste. Best hot chocolate I have ever had!
