Once you learn their hours (~8-11 and ~4-6) and figure out the system (take a tray, use the tongs to load it- then bring tray and tongs to the street side of the counter), then remember the price and pay the cashier, you can feel a little like a local. You must visit this place to taste what real mexican bread tastes, open daily, conchas and espejos are the best, and prices are really a bargain.

I love their backed goods! Enpanadas are my favorites! But all is good and FRESH! Grab a snack and eat in the main plaza or breakfas goodies.

We stopped for empanadas, churro, and donuts and enjoyed them in El Jardin. We watched locals come and go with their bags filled with goodies. A relaxing and delicious pastime!

We buy some nice breads here, traditional Mexican bakery. High quality, and very reasonable prices. Try the Mexican buns or the tortillas de maize.

You can't go wrong with this traditional bakery that's been around for years. Several mornings last month we got a bag full of pastries for less than $3US. And everything is baked fresh in the mornings. The doughnuts are still warm. The little rolls with blackberry jam are delicious. The warm bread with a little butter is wonderful. Grab a... More

Also known as the blue-door bakery, this little gem is just off the jardin on Reloj. They offer a huge selection of breads, donuts, muffins, empenadas and other fabulous offerings. On entering customer grab a metal try and a pair of tongs and gather up all the wonderful treats. Don't miss it.
