Four of us had dinner last week at Chamonix. It was mid week so it was quiet. The service, wine choices and food were excellent. We sat in the garden with soft lighting. We had a throughly enjoyable dinner.

Wine and bread were good. Started off with escargo followed by sea bass. Wife had heart of palm salad and salmon fettuccine. All were prepared well by the kitchen and the service was great. We plan to return soon.

Have known and frequented this restaurant for many years. It never disappoints. My only criticism would be the limited dessert menu.

We opted out to eat at the upscale, expensive "The Restaurant" and instead walked across the street to Chamonix, a well known tiny restaurant frequented by expats in-the-know. And we were glad we did. The cuisine is International with French tendencies. In the back of...More

We spent an extremely pleasant evening here during a week's stay in San Miguell. If you value imaginative as well as tastey food, good ambiance and attentive service, then I think you'll enjoy Chamonix. We chose to eat inside, as the evening was cold, but...More

The food is great, tomato soup is a must!! The owner has not a very kind attitude. Decoration is very nice and the place is very well located.

Chef Ana Lilia Galindo serves up a globe-spanning menu in Chamonix's cozy, hearth-warmed dining room. The specialty here is the aptly named Swiss fillet— medallions of beef wrapped in ham and cheese. But frequent fliers will also be pleased by traditional Mexican dishes like beef-stuffed poblano chiles, spicy Sri Lankan curry, Vietnamese spring rolls, and an array of fresh pastas. In fine weather, the pretty outdoor terrace is a lovely place to linger.
