The three of us had a wonderful breakfast in this restaurant which feels like an old library. Our food was delicious. All three of us had Egg Benedicts and coffee.

We went for breakfast on a Saturday. Bloody Mary's were good, but there was hardly any ice, we had to get more. The bread is cold and hard, my Eggs Benedict was gross, the eggs were snot runny, the ham was rock hard and the sauce wasn't hollandaise, it was like watered down nacho cheese sauce, the hash browns we... Cafe Monet is a lovely art-filled space particularly good for breakfast and popular both with Mexicans and the expat community. If you want chilaquiles on a Sunday morning, arrive early!

Beautifully furnished, with lovely paintings on the walls and a piano player (some nights)...this is a nice cafe from breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had good chilliquies, omelettes, bread with butter & jam, etc. Only problems were the food was not hot when served and the coffee was weak.

We popped during a rainy afternoon. A+ for the mango margaritas. The service was a bit slow and the food was o.k. I would not recommend the food to a friend.

Open on Monday (less common) and a good range of breakfast items. The cinnamon bun was terrific, not too sweet. Cafe latte was fine, but my cafe Americano was from a insulated pot and not super hot. My spouse had chilaquiles and loved them, but the salsa verde was very spicy - ask for it on the side!

Cafe Monet is the hot-spot to breakfast in tow, is really crowd so be patient and relax while you're waiting. The best plate is chilaquiles they are hot so be aware.. I am vegan so the oatmeal is a healthy and nutrition option. The coffee is great also..

I think they do a great job with seasonal vegetables and the presentation and quality is great. Been there with large and small groups and the service was timely and held up to our 20 plus movie night group. Centrally located at the edge of Centro - nice setting and ambience.

The food here is alright. But I've been here several times now and I don't see why it's so popular. If you come for brunch you will wait at least 30 minutes to be seated. The menu is pretty limited - basically you can have eggs, pancakes, french toast, or chilaquiles, and that's about it. The real problem though is... More

Closer to a European pub/bistro than a typical San Miguel setting......Monet enjoys a loyal following and continues to be a great place to meet friends or dine alone with you ipad your companion. The wood paneled room with nicely chosen fine art creates a nice break from the bright sunny skies here. The food is amazingly reasonable starting with the... More
