I loved this place, the servers are really attentive, and the food is really excellent. I had the table-side Caesar, which was great, and my filet was really great too. I also think the live music was just right, not loud at all and fantastic jazz players with their versions of famous Mexican songs.

We did not have a reservation, but the sat is us after a short wait, group of 10 people. Excellent service, food was great, only down side is it's HOT in San Miguel, we've only come in Winter. So with out A/C it's warm. Dress cool and enjoy this beautiful place!

I was taken to Tio Lucas by my brother and sister in law who live in San Miguel and I very much enjoyed the restaurant and their food was very good...I had the fish and it was done just right. We had some great drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere where we were able to enjoy each others company without being... More

Have your cocktails somewhere else. The frozen margarita was on the rocks and very skimpy. The rocks margarita was a little bigger, but still pretty tasteless. The food and service were good but I should have shared my kebab. It was enough for two!

Three of us went in March and had a lovely experience on a chilly day. One friend had seafood, another had medallions of beef with several sauces, and I had a very thick, perfectly cooked medium rare filet with an amazing mushroom sauce (apparently a tradition in Mexico and unexpected.) I don't know where this beef comes from, but it... More

We've been coming to San Miguel regularly for many years and when our sons join us, we go to Tio Lucas - they like the arrachera. During this evening's trip, the restaurant was busy and handling large tables (likely wedding related). The service was bumbling, lack of place settings, slow, incomplete entrees and a first for us, the hostess used... More

My family went Tio Lucas for lunch today after heard two recommendations from both the hotel owner and our taxi driver. And the whole experience is the worst among all my visits to Mexico. Pricey food compares to others and the cocktail is a joke, tasteless. We ordered two steaks (medium), one chicken dish and one fish dish, all came... More

Great location near center of town. Friendly owner and staff, very courteous and professional. Really enjoyed the two singers who performed a request song for $80 peso. Miguel, one of our waiters-very friendly and cordial made a wonderful Roquefort salad at our table. It was the best part of the meal. Filet and tex mex fajitas (no sour cream or... More
