Was so looking forward to this experience and was totally disappointed. Not open as often as indicated here. The breaded shrimp tacos reminded me of high school cafeteria breaded chicken fingers. Was very disappointed and would not recommend

Stale chips. Over cooked shrimp. Over cooked and old octopus, couldn't eat it. Good virgin Pina colada, guacamole, and service..

The burger was huge, far to big for me to finish and I hadn’t eaten all day. The service was good and this place is extremely busy so expect to wait for a table. Would definitely recommend and it’s worth the wait

This is definitely a hidden Jen on the beach! Great menu, great food! From incredible hamburgers to amazing seafood…you’ll easily be able to find something you like. You may have to wait for a table as they are very popular. Enjoy!

Try the burgers. They are delicious, huge and inexpensive. A nice touch are the home made fries! Definitely going back when i get to this area again.

It was late dinner in the beach.. so happy they were open, much more happier that it was excellent. The location front row surf dude, excellent staff, candlelight, music NOT offensive, and priced right! The best Shrimp burger I have ever had!

This is right on the beach, very rustic and low-key, very authentic. We ate here twice it was so good. We had grilled whole fish and ajo shrimp and they were both delicious!!! This was a slice of beach heaven.

Go for lunch or dinner but definitely stop in. Simple seafood done wonderfully plus "regular' fare such and pollo and hamburger sandwiches. Everything is monsterous in proportion and yet also incredibly affordable. A true beachfront gem that everyone seems to love there.

Sal y Pimienta is simplicity itself. Simple, shaded tables set into the sand of the beach. Full bar serving excellent margaritas. The burgers are wildly varied, and all delicious. The shrimp dishes, especially the tacos and the salad, are delicious. Relaxed atmosphere, with wandering vendors...and musicians. HUGE portions! Friendly service, though not always quick. (Note: if you are in a hurry, Zipolite is not a good place for you). I have eaten here many times, and have never been disappointed. No desert. Very busy on Sundays.More

On the beach, recommended by our cab driver...fresh seafood, period! Simple without breaking bank. Be humble and expect humble service with fresh seafood, what else can you ask for? This is Zipolite, you came here for the relaxed and fresh vibe...this place has it...$6 dollars...for a nice cut of dorado/mahi mahi plus potatoes and rice...OMG! We left content to say the least.More

The sunsets were amazing from Sal y Pimiento, but you must get there early to get a seat for Mother Nature's show. The portions are huge and the food is tasty, especially the garlic fish or fish burger. Service isn't the fastest, but the place...is usually packed and the poor servers are run off their feet. What a workout they get running thru the sand to take orders and deliver food. Hubby and I were regulars at the resto most nights. Great value for money.More
