We went because it was recommended by a local. It is a bit difficult to get there but it’s definitely worth it. It is a self sustainable restaurant and living quarters for the few houses that were made there for that purpose. It’s absolutely beautiful...More

This place has great food, beautiful grounds and friendly staff. However, the prices were a little steep for what we ordered. I’m glad I had the experience but I won’t return.

Like everyone else has already said- go early and walk around the beautiful grounds, visit the shops, and have a specialty cocktail at the bar before dinner. The pizzas are outstanding, as are the soups. All of the other tables around us had “small”pork chops...More

I wanted desperately to love this place. We arrived and had to wait over an hour to get in. They told us to wander around. You can only wander for so long. We did receive a table and felt rushed through the meal. We wanted...More

This is surely the coolest place we ever ate. You have to try the pork chop. I won’t order the fried chicken again as it was bland. We found it odd that coffee and dessert wasn’t offered. There is an ice cream stand outside of...More

I paid with a visa. I believe prices are on the website menu. We spent about $100 at lunch but ate half the menu and had cocktails :)

( Closed Mondays) Floras Field kitchen is about handmade food using our farm fresh ingredients. Our goal is to create a healthy family meal with a sense of place. Our day begins at four in the morning when Jose the baker arrives to fire the wood oven. Working with sourdough cultures and pre ferments he makes loaves of Pain L'ancienne baguette, ciabatta, sourdough, focaccia, whole wheat and herb breads. Chefs, cooks, stewards, the butcher and farm hands begin arriving after first light. Throughout the morning produce comes in to be washed and prepped while the line gets fired up to prepare the first meals- through dinner there is harvesting going hand in hand with cooking. All meats served at Floras Field Kitchen come from our nearby 150-acre ranch where animals are humanely raised on diets that do not include hormones or antibiotics. In the evening, and for Sunday brunches, the wood-burning oven becomes Mamas pizzeria. We make Neapolitan style pizza with fresh mozzarella and dough that is built over time and handled lightly.
